| What steals the show here is bitmap scroll that did fit into 16k! VSP and realtime mirrored bitmap are cool as hell! Nah, I have to +1 it! :) | User Comment Submitted by 0xDB on 10 January 2019
| A bit hard to read but looks and sounds funky! | User Comment Submitted by ChristopherJam on 8 January 2019
Love the novel dithering styles on the logo, and nice work fitting a bitmap scroll and that text effect inside 16k. But yes, feels more like a demo part than an intro somehow?
(I know, I know, perhaps a case of pot/kettle here..) | User Comment Submitted by Ramon B5 on 8 January 2019
| nice although the scroller gave me neck hernia :) | User Comment Submitted by encore on 7 January 2019
| An intro that feels more like a demo-part, which is not a bad thing. Any game following after this introscreen would probably feel quite underwhelming. :) | User Comment Submitted by ekoli on 6 January 2019
Great looking scroller, eyes got used after a while reading it too :D
Joe draws awesome stuff as always, Wiklund makes groovy stuff too. All in all, thanks for inviting us all to the greatest annual experience known to man. | User Comment Submitted by deetsay on 6 January 2019 User Comment Submitted by Hawk on 6 January 2019 User Comment Submitted by Mibri on 6 January 2019
| Cool. Looking forward to being a sofascener for this one ;) | User Comment Submitted by No-XS on 6 January 2019
| Cool tune! Made me think of an Action Henk level! :D | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 6 January 2019
| deetsay: still seems useless acrobatics to me, but if it fits the rules, all good. | User Comment Submitted by Facet on 6 January 2019
| Sweet intro. A job well done.. I love the twister! | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 6 January 2019
| wouldn't have been cheating at all as $D800-$DBE7 and I/O do not count according to ze ru132 | User Comment Submitted by deetsay on 6 January 2019
iAN CooG: Because everything + colors didn't fit!
It would have been possible (and sane) to decrunch the intro AND colorram directly from where they are loaded, but wouldn't that be cheating, if the *whole* intro was never inside the 16k block? Now everything (including the decruncher) is copied to $4000-$7fff first and run from there. Just to be sure! ;-) | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 6 January 2019
great scroll effect!
but jammer's got it, color choice is a problem, lack of contrast between text and background making text next to unreadable. why not some green/grey gradient for text scroll? | User Comment Submitted by MCM on 6 January 2019
| I really like the scroller ! Cool Intro ! | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 6 January 2019
| Technical brilliance! Only not quite sure about colours used for twisted sprite scroll :) | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 6 January 2019
| nice, but why the unnecessary custom packing? wasn't easier to just exomize mem $4000-$7fff ? =) |
