@TheRyk: the docs link above loads fine for me.
Maybe the online docs could be converted to an offline format and added to CSDb as a download for such things, though, as we never know what might happen in future. | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 6 August 2025
oh boy...
the docs homepage has turned into some boyscouts adventures blog in Finland...

seriously: where to find docs now? | User Comment Submitted by VanessaE on 9 July 2025
It's been quite some time since the last release... any chance of getting C128/VDC support? This should just need an appropriate palette, and an 80x25 display with aspect ratio similar to the "PET 80x25" mode.
Also I would strongly recommend that all export options always pop up a file/path dialog, including ones only accessible by a key command (such as shift-E export to .pet). It is inconvenient having the exported file end up in one of the editor's directories with a non-descript filename. | User Comment Submitted by Marq on 6 December 2020
One more minor update:
* Early dirart mode is there now, even though it doesn't do much more than just limit image size and show illegal chars
* Fixed a long-standing fatal bug with PET typing mode
* On the Plus/4 you can now use the mouse wheel to change color brightness (or turn the functionality off with DISABLEWHEEL) | User Comment Submitted by Marq on 24 November 2020
On the homepage there's now the first update with the following goodies:
* A long-awaited security feature: don’t just close the window if there are unsaved changes but ask for confirmation instead.
* The VIC-20 is finally lowercase-aware, including all the exporters (I hope). Exported PRGs are smaller too.
* A new non-recursive floodfill implementation which doesn’t crash on very large images.
* Zoom levels other than the default 2 have better layout than before, in particular ZOOM=1.
* If there’s not enough space for animation frames, they’ll be shown on top of the UI buttons instead.
* Buttons that are not implemented on a platform will be disabled.
* Linux/Mac default fileselector remembers the current name when “saving as”. |
