Man, I suggest you use “AI” prompt-to-image next time. It’s even easier than doing this. That way: (1) reverse image search will yield no evidence of theft, (2) you don’t have to bother with removing watermark and (3) you can claim that you’re the original artist.

What Joe and grasstust said, 1st place at Pixels Selection compo. This doesn't overshadow your noble effort, tho, so congrats.
What really worries me is the jury – I don't know if there's an official panel or a popular online voting system – which either doesn't recognize what's actually watching, or doesn't keep in count this notable POV. |

| I love that you're trying your hand at 'them pixels', and it absolutely does not look bad. The problem, as I see it, is that you're actually breaking the compo rules for Mysdata - it clearly states NO COPIES. When posting such a pic, I would always give credit to the original artist/photographer/source and also post the original picture. Also, I would include work stages (something also stated in the rules). So just keep doing them pixels and for "$"#$"# sake, keep composing 'them tunes'! :) |

So you think I only used a tool to convert a image to kolalapic and that was this output? I can honestly say that all these pixels has been carefully selected, but you are right about that the reference point was a picture from google. Is it wrong to work in this way? Apparently you think so. But yourself is doing pictures of buildings and streets where you also taught from references. Is it so much different to use my way of working it out than yours?
I agree AI and converting tools become very good to achieve great results. I still stand by this is not just a rip off. But you may be have your opinion and I my own as I spent hours on working with the picture at different stages and that is.a process I enjoy. I never say I am a good pixel artist, I just do what I enjoy and share it. Maybe paying a model is what is needed to do to get your approval. But anyway, either you can enjoy it or you think it is awful. I just care about my own process and I find it like meditation to work with these pixels my way. |
