You mean like Operation MILF
Watch it man, you risk being called out a “probably gay”. ;) | User Comment Submitted by Higgie on 28 November 2024

| Really nice work on the sky, but yeah, shame it broke compo rules, and the reference really should have been acknowledged in the first place. | User Comment Submitted by Joe on 26 November 2024
| Thanks for this @El Jefe! But it shouldn't have been posted on Magnars release, but maybe the right one by Facet instead, keeping CSDb-rules. | User Comment Submitted by El Jefe on 26 November 2024 User Comment Submitted by TPM on 25 November 2024

| yeah and next time dear Graphicians when you see a coders debate about anim vs realtime think about this picture ;) | User Comment Submitted by 4gentE on 24 November 2024
Man, I suggest you use “AI” prompt-to-image next time. It’s even easier than doing this. That way: (1) reverse image search will yield no evidence of theft, (2) you don’t have to bother with removing watermark and (3) you can claim that you’re the original artist.
BTW Quote:I agree AI and converting tools become very good to achieve great results.
I don’t. | User Comment Submitted by Slaxx on 24 November 2024 User Comment Submitted by Luca on 24 November 2024
What Joe and grasstust said, 1st place at Pixels Selection compo. This doesn't overshadow your noble effort, tho, so congrats.
What really worries me is the jury – I don't know if there's an official panel or a popular online voting system – which either doesn't recognize what's actually watching, or doesn't keep in count this notable POV. | User Comment Submitted by Bodo on 24 November 2024 User Comment Submitted by hedning on 24 November 2024 User Comment Submitted by grasstust on 24 November 2024
| I love that you're trying your hand at 'them pixels', and it absolutely does not look bad. The problem, as I see it, is that you're actually breaking the compo rules for Mysdata - it clearly states NO COPIES. When posting such a pic, I would always give credit to the original artist/photographer/source and also post the original picture. Also, I would include work stages (something also stated in the rules). So just keep doing them pixels and for "$"#$"# sake, keep composing 'them tunes'! :) | User Comment Submitted by Shine on 24 November 2024
"... all these pixels has been carefully selected ..."
Well, no offence here, but i can understand the doubt from Joe aswell.
Maybe a few worksteps would help out, what is no 100% proof of course. | User Comment Submitted by Joe on 24 November 2024 User Comment Submitted by Magnar on 24 November 2024
So you think I only used a tool to convert a image to kolalapic and that was this output? I can honestly say that all these pixels has been carefully selected, but you are right about that the reference point was a picture from google. Is it wrong to work in this way? Apparently you think so. But yourself is doing pictures of buildings and streets where you also taught from references. Is it so much different to use my way of working it out than yours?
I agree AI and converting tools become very good to achieve great results. I still stand by this is not just a rip off. But you may be have your opinion and I my own as I spent hours on working with the picture at different stages and that is.a process I enjoy. I never say I am a good pixel artist, I just do what I enjoy and share it. Maybe paying a model is what is needed to do to get your approval. But anyway, either you can enjoy it or you think it is awful. I just care about my own process and I find it like meditation to work with these pixels my way. | User Comment Submitted by Joe on 24 November 2024
| Ripped artwork from Shutterstock. Wow. It does bring the whole feeling down right then. |
