Wyrdscape Solarium

This is part of a new range from Wyrd Miniature and Malifaux game. A steampunk universe but the models are nicely generic enough tio be used in most fantasy settings I'd say. I've been very impressed with the quality, absolutely top notch plastic kit (although without any instructions :( ). The details of the walls are brilliant, insides are great (I closed this one for practical reasons). Lovely scenery available in the shop.

Morgue Master McMourning

A bit of a change of scenery with what’s been going on lately. A miniature from Wyrd and probably one of my top 3 from this brand, I really love it. A real pleasure to paint, it was done in an afternoon.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t take any real good pictures, really disappointed with that. I did it as I’m planning on using it as a displaying mini with the “soon to be released saloon” on the Blog. Hopefully within 2 weeks…


Changement d’horizon un peu et une petite pause avec les travaux précédents. Une figurine de chez Wyrd, elle est au moins dans mes 3 préférées de chez eux, je l’adore. Un vrai plaisir à peindre, j’ai passé une après midi dessus.

Malheureusement mes photos sont merdiques, sisi. Je vais l’utiliser comme figurine pour exposer le « Saloon bientôt disponible à la vente » sur le Blog. Probablement dans les 2 semaines…

Well, that’s pretty much how I feel!!! The results for the Wyrd Rotten Harvest VI are in and I’ve done well. My necromancer (see older posts) finished 2nd in the “Witches and Warlocks” category and won top spot for the best base in show!!! Best pleased with it and looking forward to browse the Wyrd online shop!!!

Ben, je me sens un peu comme le lion la !!!! J’ai reçu les résultats de la compétition chez Wyrd et ca c’est bien passé. Mon Nécromancien (voir posts ultérieurs) a fini 2eme dans sa catégorie « Sorcières et démonistes » et a gagné le premier prix pour le meilleur socle de la compétition !!!Très satisfait avec ces résultats et j’attends avec impatience mon bon d’achat chez Wyrd !!!

Maow...

A bit of a w.i.p for a change as I’m working on a lot of different things. This is the miniature I’m going to paint for the Wyrd Painting Contest. It’s called “Necromancer” and is from Maow Miniatures. I went for the Halloween feel as you can see: skulls, pumpkins and owl. I still need to finish the highlights and details on the necromancer (and tidy that horrible green stain on his jacket that just appeared from nowhere…gutted) and pretty much everything on the base. I don’t think I’ll be able to do all 3 entries for October, just will have to see….


Petite mise à jour sur ce que je travaille en ce moment. C’est la miniature que je peins pour le concours de peinture Wyrd. Il s’appelle « Nécromancien » et est produit par Maow Miniatures. Je n’ai pas fais dans la dentelle pour le thème comme vous pouvez le voir, à fond Halloween : crane, citrouille et hibou. Il faut que je finisse les éclaircissements sur le nécromancien (et nettoyer cette tache verte horrible qui vient d’apparaitre sur sa veste et qui sort de je ne sais ou) et a peu prés tout sur la base. Je ne sais pas si je vais avoir le temps de faire mes 3 entrées pour le mois d’octobre sur les différents concours, on va voir….
