Original Space Hulk plastic Terminator

Hey all, just a quick one today, you might have sensed an interest for Space Hulk from my part over time and a little while ago, there's been a paintig challenge on a Space Hulk page on Facebook (how boomer is that ?) to paint one of the original plastic terminators.
And I realised I had never painted one of those monopose monstrosities ! Well only one way to fix that I guess !

Scythes of the Emperor Terminator Specialists

Hey everyone! Happy new year to all ! I wish you all the best for this year and sincerely hope we get to shake hands and push little soldiers on the same table again soon !

Now how best to start a new year ? Well painting some models is definitely a winner and I guess clearing the desk is even better so I've set myself the goal to finish as many projects as I can from the desk and to give myself some milestones for some projects that haven't moved as much as I meant to during 2020, we'll see how this goes !

Chaos Terminator Lord

Alright everyone, now amongst this very unexpected but enjoyable chaotic derailing of my painting queue, there has been an unexpected but enjoyable disturbance (it wouldn't be fun otherwise).
My friends Grove and Crooks were just posting awesome WIP pics of chaos champions up to the post where the urge to build myself one was unbearable.

Terminator inquisitor - Space Hulk

So last time was about a team of Scythes of the Emperor to play Space Hulk right ? And they were just 9 ? Yeah, I'm a simple man and I like simple things so 10 men was always the idea. ^^
I wanted to have a special character though, even it it probably meant I'd be playing it as a regular guy but you don't get the occasion to make a bunch of terminators every day so better make the best of any occasion.

I picked this guy because I had built him some time ago and found him cool (Jes Goodwin models are cool, period).

"The times they are a-changin' " or terminators, finecast and Emporium for a change

Always looking to populate my Rogue trader setting with intriguing new inhabitants, I recently fell upon a cheap model on a french trading site...

Yup, that's what it it, a Dark Eldar S-Slyth... in finecast.
Some of the early followers here my remember I have a particular fondness for Snakemen... and my southern brother Captain Crooks recently did a very excellent post to unveil the origins of these creatures (follow his blog, really).

SOOOoooo, having a blister is one thing but having a built model is another. With everything I had heard about the finecast, I was a little nervous about the time I might have to spend on filling voids and all...
