General Lee

Maybe you think I am crazy. After painting a huge fantasy monster I now paint a 10mm historical miniature!? Yes you are right. But thats me. :)))

 This is General Lee. It is a 10mm miniature form Pendraken Miniatures. Lovely details on such a small scale.

[Vikings] Battle group #1 finished

The first Battle-group of Vikings has arrived on Longboats. Ready to plunder. This men are worth 120 points on the Field of Glory rule system.
8 x heavy Infantry
4 x Bowmen

Mixed a stand Berserkers and Huscarls into this band. For the next Battle-group the miniatures will be mix on single Bases. This will look better.

Oh yes! The bases are magnetized.

The bases now look like a cows hide but better then just pure white. To give it more scenic dead grass was added. Now I like them and the sub Commander too. He is so happy he wag with the sword. Yeah! We can see you.

As final tip the banner has to be done. (it is already stolen) :)

[Vikings] more show base tests

I am still experimenting with the snow bases. They are not as easy as i thought. Its not a good idea to but on the white stucco paste directly on a surface. The paste drys more like color. Every structure you build with it will fade out. Even if you put on several layer. Therefore it is necessary to use something beneath.

[Vikings] Projekt Starts

I have started a new historical project in 15mm scale. The small 600 points Army is build for the Field of Glory rules-set. After checking all base measures its time to base some painted models.

Models are used from Khurasan Miniatures. They are having a broad range of 15mm miniatures.
Shield decals are from Little Big Men Studios. They have a lot of highly detailed shield decals for differed sizes (10-40mm).

Voltigeur

I have done the entire Voltigeur of the Napoleon at War at once. They are the difficulties to paint. So many different colors. Hopefully they are just few. But still time consuming.

1. NaW french Battalion

I am very happy and excited to have my first French Battalion finished. The miniatures are form an new rang of 18mm. The company is called "Man at War" This Figures are form the range "Napoleon at War" The miniatures are very fine detailed and every single detail is sculpted on. So the miniatures are historical correctly. Also are the bases included in the big box of Line infantry Miniatures.

Rules are also availably. Which look very easy to learn. When I have finished a few Battalions its time for play testing.

Roman Legionaries

A Warlord-box of Roman Legionaries is finished. Also some Command. The legionnaire were done by the help of Army-painter Quickshade mid-tone.

The General is completely hand painted.

For Titus Aduxas I want something special. So I gave him an NMM- Look.

2nd finished Line Infantry

This morning I shape the Base. So time to show the result. The photo is with both finished Line Infantry for a better view of the whole project.

Finished Old Guard Grenadiers

The first base is finished for General de Brigade.
Its the Old Guard Grenadiere.

7yw Morawitzky Battalion

The last battalion from the 7yw-project. This is a Bavarian battalion. Can be ether Minucci or Morawitzky. After the year 1759 Minucci battalion had red wests.

WiP Old Guard Grenadiers

Some of the Old Guard Grenadiers from Victrix are close to finish. But they are already to be shown. Today I glued them on the Base. 3 are to come for this 6er Base.

French napoleonic Colonel

Some pals an me started a General de Brigade project. The first I began to paint is a Colonel. It was a very joy to paint this beautiful 28mm Victrix Miniature.

This is the first finished model just the basing is missing.

Some Infantry. After our Meeting which Basing-system we should use I was guessing we will have 4 Miniatures on one base. But afterwards we decided to use 45x40 bases which means to be placed 6 Miniatures on one single base. So there are two to go.

Last but not least I finished yesterday a command Figure.

[WIP] 7yw Bayern

Es wird zeit mal wieder eine Kleinigkeit zu Präsentieren. Eines meiner zahlreichen Projekt. Es ist noch neu doch gibt es schon kleine Erfolge.

Infanterie der Franzosen 6mm

Da sie fast fertig sind und zu meiner vollsten Zufriedenheit ausfallen, einen kleinen Blick in die 6mm Werkstatt. Einzig die Begrünung fehlt. Die Kommt sobald ich einen Staticgrass -Werfer mein eigen nenne darf. Das würde die Minis noch um einiges aufwerten. Jedoch seht erst mal selbst.
