Hi All,
I should have been posting regularly the last few days, but you know how it goes. I just wanted to clue you in on a few things that are time sensitive.
Colony 87 Kickstarter
These awesome looking Sci-Fi civilians are wrapping up today. I don't have any other Sci-Fi 28mm at the moment, unless the Space Hulk plastics count, but I plan to get a few soon for Necromunda type games.
You can find it here. As of this writing it's got less than 24hrs left to go.
Cardboard Warriors Nepal Charity Bundle
I got an email from Billiam Babble of Inked adventures the other day telling me of this great product which you can find here. A great deal on paper terrain and figures and a good cause. I'm not sure how long this one will run.
Ray's 500th blog post giveaway
You know him, you love him, Ray is having a fantastic looking giveaway that ends on the 15th. So get you submissions in here. Or don't, and let me have a better chance at winning something. Hopefully I can win something from him again, I did once before.
So a lot of stuff to look at. I have to run off to Home Depot and buy a replacement Kitchen faucet. The column on mine seized and I apparently broke it trying to lubricate the column so that I could actually turn the damn thing. I also base coated those Altengard figures. I couldn't spray because it was too windy so I had to do it all by hand. We're also still only part way through Knight's Quest. I think I lost the boy. More on that later.

Make your own Hogan's Heroes set up.
Some one on the solowargame group for yahoo was asking about some set up that they had seen at a convention showing a WWII German POW camp. They were looking to use it for some Post Apoc buildings.
Turns out they are a free download of paper buildings from Ebob Miniatures here.
Nice buildings with some good detail. I think they are in 28mm scale, but not 100% sure.

Paper Chase
Just doing a little card modelling, using Dirt Cheap Terran by Microtactix. Inspired by the Colonel to get started, and in need of a gaming surface I thought I'd start with this kit I bought over a year ago.
On the recommendation of the Dux I downloaded the latest podcast of Meeples & Miniatures and listened while I cut and glued. So far so good. (Actually I listened to #90, 89 and 91 show up on the blog, go figure.)
I'll try to get some pictures of progress up tomorrow.
*** Update 7/15/12 ***
Here are a couple of pictures of what I've done so far. Sorry to disappoint Joe, but it's not an actual terrain piece but really a tile. I'm trying my hand at these to improve my papercraft technique on something that is not as vital.
So not the greatest but it'll get the job done. The paper clips hold together better but make the edges bow up. After doing most of these I realized that you need to really bend the flaps pretty far under if you want them to lie flat. That's why most of my edges bow out.
After I finish this set I may sex them up with a pattern printed onto the tiles. I'm also considering World works or something like that for artwork. It also looks like a robo cutter might be a worthwhile investment if your going to do a lot of these.

The Colonel's Cardstock list
Hi All,
Just a quick re-blog of the phenomenal list of Paper craft resources and reviews that Col. Shofer is putting together here.
Once again a case of sychronicity (once again a word that blogger sees as mis-spelled and is not in dictionary.com) as I have been looking over paper craft table top solutions.
Enjoy.
