Originally built as part of a larger total conversion that never saw the light of day, SEWAGE has Duke dropping into a Canadian sewer system seeking out a route below ground to reach the Parliament Building in Ottawa. Considering how Page’s JAILBIRD ended upon entering the sewers, this level doesn’t feel out of place as a possible follow up.
After some boat trouble and almost becoming food for the sharks, Duke touches down onto an island he’d received an S.O.S signal. There’s a boarded up, abandoned building here and yet the lights still flicker on inside. Checking a nearby computer terminal reveals these power fluctuations are a result of tampering and the central nuclear reactor is close to melting down. There’s only hours left to spare.
Mapping for the BUILD Engine version of PS/EX had always been a possibility, but because there were no mapping documentation this became a trickier process. What started out as a curiosity soon evolved into cross referencing the official levels and piecing together the information needed to create their own guide, eventually a three level campaign was developed attempting to show off some discoveries made along the way.
