Held Hostage

Time for the final batch of minis that I thought could be fun for Zombicide.  These are hostages from Armorcast.  Perfect for Malls or workplace hostage situations.  Rescue the hostages before the Zombies munch on 'em!

These were also part of the set of officers, SWAT teams and criminals that I painted back in 2007 and 2008.

As with the other sets, these would be just the right scale to go with those zombies!

It's dangerous at those malls!

And now for the whole set...

Yar!! Some more old timey figures

Here is a batch of figures from Armorcast that I painted back in 2008.

If you look at previous galleries of my painted Armorcast figures, you will see a lot of interesting characters like this fez  toting gnome...

And a Cthulhu pirate!

They also made a series of objective markers.

This is one of my favorites.  A big ogre with a lot of character!

And finally... a zombie pirate.  Time to walk that plank!

These officers are not gentelmen

Here is the second set of officers that I promised!  These are also from Armorcast.  Bloody these guys up, and they are ready for some Zombie prison breaout!

I am pretty sure that I painted this batch of minis back in 2008.

I was very tempted to put Chicago flags on the shoulders, but I had to keep it a bit more neutral than that.  So, I settled for the sky blue shirts and black pants...

There was even a female officer, which was cool.

It would have been neat to see these guys up against actual Zombicide minis, but alas, they are long gone.

Look, here's the whole Precinct!

The Criminal Element

Here's the next batch of Prison Outbreak appropriate minis from Armorcast.

These guys are called High Tech Criminals, and with those masks, I think they would all count as tough.  Probably tough enough to put a shiv in a Zombie!

I remember when I was painting these guys that I tried to come up with as many colors as I could for prison jumpsuits!

Just imagine the names for theses characters... it would be an absolute riot.  Two face, Bad Rap, The Offender.  Ha!

No Mr. Nice Guys here... just trouble waiting to happen.  Of course, Zombie versions of these dudes would be even more hilarious.

I guess that none of these guys would need a chainsaw, fireaxe or crowbar to open doors.  A spoon, a blanket and some time is all that's needed.

So hang onto your wallets and look out behind you, because those Zombies are walking the line.

Some stuff for Prison Outbreak: Narcos

Going back through the archives, I discovered a ton of figures from Armorcast that could be very interesting for the new Prison Outbreak Zombicide game.

These guys are from Armorcast, and they are called Narcotics Officers.

They are 28 mm metal minis, and they are part of a series of convicts, officers and hostages.

Given the more 'shooty' nature of the Toxic City Mall, these guys would be perfect.

I have galleries of the other figures as well that I will post during the week.

Since Zombicide encourages you to make your own scenarios and such, having batches of figures such as these on hand will let you expand that creativity.

So, let's review this first set of officers!

The Last Hurrah...

Here are the last of the images dug up from the archive.

These guys were painted about 5 years ago, which seems like a million years ago, and yesterday all at the same time...

I would imagine that it would take me a lot less time to paint these today.

So, once more, we bid goodbye to the past!

Is this your final Response?

OK, last of the Response team before the group shots.

Again, these were probably painted sometime in 2008...

I may be seeing them again next year at Adepticon, if I ever get the time to be in the dealer's room! :-)

And then there were four

I had forgotten that all five of the Response Team members were different poses.  I did n't realize that until I worked on the unprocessed photos.

I am pretty sure that Armorcast made the bases as well.  I think they still bring these to Adepticon each year...

A huge Response...

Well, this might be somewhat anti-climatic after yesterday's WIP images of the Angel of Dominance.  I was a tad but surprised to see that it garnered nearly 6000 page views in 22 hours!

Holey smokes!

Anyway, back to the Response Team.

Not to worry, since there are more images coming of the Angel!!!  Stay tuned!

How do you Respond?

More of the Response Team from Armorcast :-)

It's been so long... I still don't remember painting these guys!  I think they were fun, though...

First Responders

A few years ago I painted something called a Response Team for Armorcast.  Sort of a SWAT team tribute. :-)  I had forgotten all about them, and ran across the images earlier this week.

In fact, 90% of the pictures had not even been processed!  So, you are seeing them for the first tine along with me...

The irony is, I have been talking a lot about subjects for post kickstarter videos.  Painting White and painting Black would be chief among them, since I am asked so frequently about those!

So, stay tuned, since there is more to come!
