Fernando Silva started off his professional career in the enterprise technology space with his primary focus being moving large organizations from onsite legacy technologies to a more modern cloud infrastructure. All the technologies he dealt with were mostly in the Microsoft arena but he was always a lover of Apple at heart.

His love for Apple products started back in 2007 when Steve Jobs announced the first-ever iPhone. From then on, it was a love affair that to this day has only grown stronger. As the years progressed he consumed all sorts of media and content related to Apple and its products. First was the blogs like GSM Arena, CNET, and 9to5 and then he also fell in love with the tech Youtube community.

After picking up the new redesigned 2018 iPad Pro he absolutely loved the form factor and the power that came with it, and he realized that there wasn’t much iPad-related content on YouTube. In 2019 he started his YouTube channel that focused primarily on iPads and productivity. He was able to build his channel and community to 43,000 subscribers.

Hands-on: This tiny MagSafe controller brings real buttons and a retro feel to your iPhone

Some of my earliest memories go back to the late 90s when the Game Boy Color launched. I remember being six or seven years old, walking into a store with my dad to pick up a Game Boy Color and a copy of Pokémon Blue. I spent countless hours playing that Game Boy, and looking back, it played a major role in sparking the tech interest I still carry today. Fast forward to 2026, and mobile gaming has evolved in ways we could not have imagined back then. Touchscreens are incredibly capable, but nothing truly replaces the tactility of real buttons, and most controllers are not portable enough to justify carrying everywhere. So when I saw just how tiny and lightweight the abxylute M4 Snap-On Mobile Controller was, I knew I had to test it for myself. Here is what you should know.

This Anker portable power bank has one feature that keeps bringing me back [Video]

I have been lucky enough to test a variety of different portable power solutions. There are endless options for different scenarios and different customers. You have high-capacity chargers, ultra-slim magnetic chargers, and I even recently reviewed a MagSafe charger with a built-in fan for heat dissipation. But sometimes the chargers that are the most practical and just work are the ones that are the easiest to recommend. The portable power bank I have used most in the last year is the Anker MagGo with Apple Watch charger. While it’s not the flashiest, it excels at a few things that other chargers just don’t. Let me explain.

Hands-on: This Qi2 MagSafe power bank has active cooling, but is it useful? Sharge IceMag 3 [Video]

The current MagSafe battery pack market is pretty insane right now. There are literally thousands of magnetic power banks all over Amazon. Most of them are the same: they attach to the back of your phone, trickle-charge your iPhone, and get warm the longer they charge. When you look for one on Amazon, they all look like slightly modified versions of the previous one. But every once in a while, you see one that actually looks, feels, and functions differently. That is exactly what the new Sharge IceMag 3 has. It’s fast, has a very unique look, and can do more than just charge your phone. Let’s take a look.

Nomad launches Icy Blue Stratos Band for Apple Watch

Last year, Nomad introduced an Apple Watch band that I had never seen before. It combined the athletic-minded FKM rubber they use for their sports bands with the high-end, high-quality titanium they use for their Titanium Band, and called it Stratos. This band blew me away, and I’ve used it basically every day since then. Now they are back with a new colorway, and they have just bought their Icy Blue Glow material over to the Stratos band for a limited time. This thing is a showstopper.

Apple Watch Ultra: The best Apple Watch I do not need [Video]

I have been an Apple Watch Ultra user since its release in September 2022. Over the years, I have owned the regular Ultra and currently own the Ultra 2 in Black Titanium, and I have worn it nearly every single day. I wanted the Ultra for the little things: a better battery, a larger display, and better build materials. I just wanted to see what Apple could do with its “best” Apple Watch. After using it for nearly four years, I can confidently say that this is the best Apple Watch Apple has ever made, but it’s also an Apple Watch that I just don’t need. Let me explain.

This case makes your iPhone feel caseless [Hands-on]

Over the years, I have tried 100s of iPhone cases, from rugged cases to leather cases, clear cases, and multifunctional wallet cases. And while these cases have their time and place, I always come back to the same type of case as my favorite: thin iPhone cases. There is just something about keeping the iPhone feeling like an iPhone that makes it enjoyable to use long-term. So when I saw Moft was releasing their new Movas Frame case, I had to give it a try. It was designed to be slim, light, and minimal while still adding protection. I’ve been using it for a few weeks, and here is what you should know.

I love the iPhone Air, but two things stopped me from committing [Video]

The iPhone Air is the most exciting iPhone Apple has released since the iPhone X. It’s thin, lightweight, and amazingly designed, and for the first time in a long time, it’s different. Apple’s iPhone lineup has felt increasingly redundant. The iPhones have all looked and felt the same since the iPhone 11 lineup. So, excuse the pun, but the iPhone Air has been a genuine breath of fresh air. It prioritizes feel, design, and experience over chasing specs, and that is what makes it special. I put my main SIM card in the iPhone Air and, initially, I loved it. But after living with it day in and day out, two issues slowly but consistently stopped me from fully committing.

Just get a new iPad? Here’s what to do first [Video]

Getting a new iPad is one of the most exciting experiences. You get a beautiful pane of glass that just happens to be a tablet, capable of doing basically anything, if set up correctly. The most tedious part of an iPad is setting it up and learning how to navigate it. Especially now with the update to iPadOS 26, people quietly changed how the iPad works in some pretty meaningful ways. So before you start to set things up, and download a ton of apps, here are the things you should do right away to make your iPad feel faster, cleaner, and more intentional from day one.

iPadOS 26 revitalized the iPad in 2025, but was it enough? [Video]

I’ve been using an iPad Pro as my primary computer since the big redesign in 2018. Back then, it was still running what was essentially an iPad version of iOS. But I loved the design and the raw power it offered so much that I decided to commit to the iPad full-time. Every year after that, Apple teased the idea that the iPad was becoming a more genuine computer replacement. And every year, the software fell just short.

Then Apple released iPadOS 26 in 2025, and for the first time, it genuinely changed what the iPad could be for a lot of people. It was transformative in many ways, but it also introduced a level of nuance that left some users hesitant. So the question is: was this update finally enough?

I used a lot of tech products in 2025, these were my favorite

As 2025 comes to a close, I wanted to take a step back and look at the tech that I used and actually made a difference in my day-to-day. This is not going to be a list based solely on specs, but rather a personal rundown of the gear that I gravitated towards throughout the year because it was either very useful or just enjoyable to use. I wanted to shed some light on a few non-Apple products, but of course, I also chose my Apple product of the year at the very end. These are my favorite tech items of 2025!

Review: This MagSafe battery pack replaced multiple chargers for me [Video]

I have tested dozens of MagSafe battery packs over the years, including slim ones, chunky ones, low-capacity chargers, and full-on power bricks that aim to replace everything at once. Most of the battery packs I test are mostly fine; they do the job. But the Kuxiu S3 10,000mAh battery pack strikes a great balance of simplicity, multifunctionality, and, most importantly, reliability. Here is what you should know about their brand-new solid-state battery pack.

iMessage is full of features you’re probably not using (but should) [Video]

It feels like every year, Apple quietly adds dozens of small features and improvements to the Messages app, but most of them fly under the radar. These aren’t flashy or eye-grabbing features, but they are the type of features that really help the quality of life and experience of the Messages app. If you are like most people, then you have probably been using the Messages app the same way for years, meaning you are barely scratching the surface of what the app can do. Here are some of the best Messages features that you need to know.

iPhone settings & features you didn’t know existed [Video]

Here are 15 features and settings that every iPhone owner should know about, but probably doesn’t.

Review: GAMEBABY case gives your iPhone real buttons & turns it into a retro handheld console

Back in the day, I remember needing to jailbreak my iPhone to access apps like GBA4iOS and play my classic Game Boy Color games. But last year, Apple finally opened up the App Store and allowed developers to release emulators. It was easily one of the best things Apple could have done. I immediately downloaded Delta and started running through all my old Pokémon games. And while Delta’s haptics and software button layouts are great, nothing beats clicking real, physical buttons. That’s why the GAMEBABY case caught my eye. I reviewed the original version last year and loved it, so when the new model arrived for the iPhone 17 series, I had to test it again. Here’s what you need to know.

Review: Why the Sotsu FlipAction is my new favorite second screen for iPad Pro (and Mac)

When Apple introduced true windowing multitasking and extended display support with iPadOS 26, pairing my iPad Pro with a portable monitor suddenly became a lot more interesting. I’ve used numerous portable displays over the years, primarily with my MacBook Air, and they’ve ranged from inexpensive plastic options to higher-end models that focus on the screen itself. Some were decent, but the Sotsu FlipAction lineup just hits different. It looks like someone took a 16-inch iPad and attached it to a modular, magnetic Studio Display stand. I’ve been using this monitor for well over a year now, and I wanted to share my in-depth thoughts on whether or not it is worth the price. Let’s break it down.

These hidden iOS 26 features are actually useful [Video]

iOS 26 is easily the most significant visual overhaul we’ve seen on the iPhone in years. We got the new Liquid Glass UI, better Files systems, and a complete Camera app change. All the things that Apple showed off and highlighted. However, after using iOS 26 and iOS 26.1 for a few months, it seemed like Apple decided not to inform us about some of the best functional features, such as default audio input, camera enhancements, and even an update to the Alarm, which had remained unchanged for 20 years. So here are the best hidden iOS 26 features that Apple didn’t tell us about.

Hands-on: This MagSafe power bank charges all your Apple gear with unique trick

Companies and brands are becoming increasingly more creative in the MagSafe accessories space. So when I got my hands on Kuxiu’s K1 Ultra, it was nice to see a product that was unique in both form and function. Here is what you should know!

These are my favorite iPad accessories of 2025 that surprised me the most [Video]

This year has been huge for the iPad. The introduction of iPadOS 26 really changed how people view the iPad. For many customers, it can now be their only computer. The best part is that you can get the entry-level iPad 11 for $274 or a fully iPad Pro for $2000+, and the experiences are pretty much the same. With that being said, there are some accessories that I have been using this year that have really amplified the way I use my iPad Pro alongside iPadOS 26. Here are some of the best ones to consider.

iPadOS 26: You need to try these new multitasking features [Video]

iPadOS 26 is easily the most significant change to the iPad software we’ve ever seen. Between the new multitasking windows in 26.0, the slide-over refinements in 26.1, and now the return of Split View in 26.2, multitasking on the iPad finally feels natural, intuitive, and productive without compromise. It’s as if Apple finally heard what I have wanted from the iPad since it got its own operating system with iPadOS 13. The best part is that Apple is giving iPad users the best of all forms of multitasking, from full windowed mode, Stage Manager, and the new multitasking. After using it for a few months, I’ve discovered some of my favorite features and use cases.

One feature makes this MagSafe battery pack stand out

It feels like every brand has its own MagSafe power bank: thin ones, high-capacity ones, and even ones with built-in stands. However, something was always missing for me. I use multiple MagSafe accessories daily, such as a finger loop, wallet, and even a USB-C MagSafe hub, and the moment you attach a traditional battery pack, all of that becomes unusable. Kuxiu’s B10 finally fixes this with a brilliantly simple idea: magnets on both sides, letting you charge your phone with Qi2 while still attaching any MagSafe accessory you want. It’s such a simple concept, but incredibly smart. Here’s what you need to know.

The M4 MacBook Air is the best value in tech, here’s why

Apple released the M4 MacBook Air back in March of 2025. On the surface it was not a game changing improvement compared to the previous model. We did get some new FaceTime camera features and better external display support but nothing really jumped out at you. But the magic of this laptop is the amount of value you get for the price. Right now you can get a brand new M4 MacBook Air from Amazon for under $750. The amount of power, efficiency and sheer computer you get for that price is insane. Let’s dive in.

This MagSafe accessory adds 7 ports to your iPhone

They release charging bricks, 3 1 folding chargers, trackers, and a few other goodies. Now they are expanding that collection with the introduction of the 7 in 1 MagSafe Multiport adapter. As someone who uses their iPhone for everything from video to gaming to communicating to podcasting, this new accessory has been a great addition to the travel pack. Here is what you need to know.

Hands-on: Smart glasses that finally look & feel normal – Even Realities G2

During the chaos of CES 2025, I came across one product that gave me the “I need to have that” feeling. It was at a small booth in the smart wearables area. They were the Even Realities G1 glasses. They were the first smart glasses I came across that I actually wanted to wear purely based on the look. When I finally got my hands on them, they mostly lived up to my internal hype. These G1 glasses were amazingly well made, had some great functionality that I used a lot, like the teleprompter feature, and seemed to be heading in the direction that I thought most smart glasses should take. However, it was still a first-generation product, so some kinks needed to be ironed out. Fast forward to today, and Even Realities introduced their new G2 glasses and the R1 bright ring, and now it feels like a whole different beast. Here is what you should know.

The M4 Mac mini has completely changed how I view all other desktops [Video]

Believe it or not, the M4 Mac mini was released just over a year ago. Apple changed the footprint, design, and form factor to create a compact 5in x 5in x 2in aluminum box with a fan at the bottom. It was a nice upgrade from its predecessor. But, in all honesty, I was not expecting much. I figured it would be a fine computer, especially because Apple debuted it at a $599 price point ($499 now on Amazon). So I thought to myself, there has to be some limitation that everyday users would notice, right? But after using this for an entire year as my main desktop, it has completely distorted how I think about computers and what real value in tech should look like.
