here's a edgecase that is not explained at all: what happens if all heroes die(can happen if the living heroes are a honest hero with the clown quirk and a even lvl, and one of the other 2 heroes has their lvl doubled of halved, and they're lvl 25 and 50)
improvement suggestion: add the ability to see how heroes lie mid-run. I lost 5 times to not knowing how a specific hero lie, and knowing that in every case would've allowed me to know for sure whether they are honest or not. and because of the quirks they had, that determined who I should charm
Thanks for the heads-up! I've fixed the issue, as well as some other edge-case bugs with the hero thoughts. I strongly recommend checking out the Steam build, since the game runs much smoother on Windows than in-browser and the latest update is always up there first!
Fun as heck, love that the killing mechanic actually reveals info! This makes all the convoluted card effects not so bad when trying to find logic (bros actually added sums and averages lmao).
Spend the first 20 minutes bopping to the soundtrack. Hope to catch a release of it someday! This is an absolute banger!
Looks probably hornier than I'm comfortable with. Also, the tutorial does not specify, though it does demonstrate, that liars will mislead other cards as well as yourself.
Will they? It didn't occur to me liars mislead other cards, they see them as liars and see their true level regardless of what they tell, it's the whole point of the game
I think you are referring to the passives of heroes like the Demonologist, who is always perceived as a Liar by his fellow heroes due to his proclivity towards the dark magic arts. I will try to make sure that is explained even better!
Possibly the Demonologist was involved? If his gimmick not only makes him be perceived as a liar but as the only liar, that does in fact need more explaining.

Genuinely curious of where this will go from now 'till full game, because it's already a lot of stuff happening and a very cool brain teaser.
Keep up the good work!
You can expect to see at least a lot of new characters and new evolutions with the full game :)
In the second level of the tutorial I flipped all cards before the instruction came in telling me to do so. This hard locked me.
