Welcome to the Wild West!

This particular version of the wild west is presented in form of a card game. The following are a few things to keep in mind while playing the game:

  1. Micromanage your deck! In our game, you'll have areas where you can buy new cards and sell your old cards. Make sure to make use of this system to guarantee the highest advantage over your opponent.
  2. Read card descriptions. Many cards work together and synergize to create unique combos and experiences. There are a total of 18 cards in the whole game, so try them out and see what kind of playstyle you like the most!
  3. Order your cards carefully. Like stated previously, cards have different combos together that you should try out! There are some cards that benefit from strategic placements buff your cards as much as possible.
  4. Finally, deal as much damage as possible. In our game, you win if you are able to deal more damage than your opponent while also trying to defend yourself to not let your opponent deal too much damage. You can build a deck that focuses solely on damage, a deck that has maxed out its defence, or something else entirely!

Dev notes

Our biggest inspiration for this game was the game Balatro by LocalThunk, and we also used a lot of references to the animated series Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run for this game too (don't worry though, there aren't any spoilers)!

Thank you for taking the time to play our game! we welcome you to give us feedback by commenting any suggestions or issues you found during the game, anything helps!

Good luck with the jam!
