Patricia Noboa Armendáriz

Patricia Noboa Armendáriz is an Ecuadorian journalist and media consultant. She develops and implements projects with DW Akademie's local partners in Latin America to strengthen freedom of expression.

Her work focuses on media and information literacy (MIL), the specificities of disinformation in Latin America, and strategies to rebuild trust in the media. Noboa Armendáriz leads the MIL Community of Practice at DW Akademie to foster cross-regional knowledge exchange among practitioners, and represents DW Akademie in the Regional Chapter of the UNESCO MIL Alliance for Latin America and the Caribbean. She has experience in television and radio journalism in Ecuador and online in Germany.
