The Apple TV app is one of the most frustrating streaming platforms to use. The navigation is unnecessarily complex, and it’s not clear what content belongs to Apple TV+, what requires a subscription, or what needs to be purchased separately. Resuming episodes is a mess—it often starts in the wrong place or skips to the wrong episode. There’s no proper “Continue Watching” section like other apps, and tracking which episodes you’ve already watched is confusing.It feels like Apple is more focused on pushing sales and rentals than offering a smooth, user-friendly viewing experience. They seriously need to simplify the layout, improve episode tracking, and make the “Up Next” feature more reliable. For a company known for design, this app is shockingly poorly thought out.

Very Cumbersome App

- download options are very limited, there is no option to just download the next few unwatched episodes automatically - downloads if failed due not restart / you have to remove them (even they are not downloaded) and then restart the download - the app shows you content which is not available on Apple TV without an option to filter - you can not use the 300 Dollar Magic Cover on the IPad to forward or backtrack the play head without touching the screen - to get to more information about a show it takes multiple very small icons even with plenty of screen available to display a few more lines of information. It’s an absolute horrible App.

Constant “There’s an Issue Loading This Content” Error

Every time I try to resume an episode or start a new show, I keep getting the message: “There’s an issue loading this content.” I try again over and over and it takes way too long before it finally works.My WiFi is working perfectly, the Apple TV app is fully updated, and everything else on my device works just fine. So what exactly is the issue? Why am I paying for a service that doesn’t let me watch what I want, when I want?This is incredibly frustrating and has been going on for a while now. Please fix this or at the very least, give us a clear explanation instead of a generic error message.
