ANGER: Death Machine

SYNOPSIS

One hundred years ago, Earth expierenced the War of the Worlds. Martian military force invaded Great Britain and Eurasia. The invasion was devastating, humanity's attempts to combat them failed, but when all man's devices have failed, aliens were stopped by the common bacteria.  Habitual and safe for humans but putrefactive and deadly for Martians, which their systems were unprepared. 

After the invasion, some Martian technology was adapted for civilian use, like computers and engines, but much remained unsolved. The RAU (the union of Tsarist Russia and Asia) isolated itself, refusing to share salvaged alien technology. Different versions of this technology existed for Britain, Europe, and the RAU, each holding pieces of a larger puzzle. Eventually, people lost interest in the quest for knowledge.

Simultaneously, sinister individuals began using deception and violence to assemble this puzzle, creating a weapon intended for global domination. Many, captivated by body modification trends, started transforming into Bio-Cyborgs (BIO-MECHs), leading to a biological revolution in some European cities. 

The cult known as The New Flesh gained traction, promoting the perfect human with the slogan, "Going to the Future to the Rhythm of the Mechanical Heart!" Unbeknownst to its followers, this was part of a larger, sinister plan. During this upheaval, a strange email arrived in the inbox of a humble system administrator, Nicholas "Klaus" Adamopolis.

I don't know who this letter will reach, but consider yourself the Chosen One. Something terrifying is about to happen tomorrow; a catastrophe is looming. In the heart of the city, right under our noses, lies a weapon of mass destruction: Kronos, the Death Machine. I beg you, whoever you are, to take action. I am no longer alive, but I did everything I could to delay the launch of Kronos indefinitely. Hurry, or else not only our country but all of Europe and the entire world will suffer. The Martians haven't gone anywhere! They haven't lost this war yet; it's only just beginning!

-"What nonsense!" - thought Nicholas...

The next morning, explosions rocked the city. The Bio-Mechs suddenly went berserk, unleashing a massacre on the streets. Nicholas was awakened by the sound of gunfire throughout the apartment. His neighbours had been slaughtered. In a desperate bid to save his life, he fled his apartment and found himself in the very epicentre of the chaos.
