Is Mind The Gap coming to Steam in the future?

Hi, one of the devs here. Unfortunately this is unlikely to happen, Mind The Gap was a year 2 student project and those usually don’t release on steam. Year 3 projects developed at Breda University of Applied Sciences can be found in on Steam though. I speak for the rest of the team as well when saying that most of the devs don’t plan on continuing on this project in year 3 but it’s not completely out of the picture either. Most of us are excited to stick to the horror genre though, and possibly some of us might work on a different horror game in the near future. Thanks for your excitement about our work though!

Please optimise the game!  I tried recording a playthrough of this and got stuck turning a corner after the upside down and ended up in virtually complete darkness and couldn't move.  This was after lowering the graphics to high and dropping the mouse sensitivity significantly.  Otherwise this is a really great concept of a game with the london underground being a perfect scenario for a liminal horror.

Great concept! It was fun to playthrough but there was quite a few bugs and lag spikes. Some optimization would make it a lot better, keep up the good work!

One of the devs here. Thank you for playing our game! It really means a lot to us to see people trying it out, especially since we’re a student project.

The game is still in the early stages of development, so we apologize for any bugs you ran into, we're aware of them and actively working on fixing them as well as improving the experience. We hope you'll check in over the next 2 weeks to see how the game has grown. Cheers!

is there monsters? o.o

Game is unbeatable in its current state. Every time I get past the multiple hallways section with the music I go through the door and fall through the floor.

We have identified the root of the problem and we will be fixing it ASAP. Thanks for reporting it!

Very creepy. I absolutely loved that I had to squeeze into the bent corridor. Got kinda confused at the second gate what I was supposed to and where to go, since everything was kinda dark there.

Good potential, but game is really buggy.

Couple notes for the dev for bugs.

  • If you jump in the subway tunnel you can't get back up and camera breaks so you can see your  body when you jump.
  • If you go to the first gap and then backtrack all the  way to the train you fall out of the map.
