I had the pleasure of joining Kelley Beveridge on her podcast to discuss how leadership and innovation are shaping the future of work and why women must have a seat at the table. We traced my journey from being a quiet, math-loving introvert to leading a national innovation movement through Canada's Ocean Supercluster. Negotiation matters. ⚖️ The Market Right Now We’re seeing a split: • In-demand skill sets → Candidates still have leverage. • Oversupplied roles → Competition is fierce, and employers can be choosy. 🔮 The Next 4 Months: Hopeful and Pragmatic Opportunities are there — but they’re selective. Canada’s productivity gap has been getting a lot of attention lately, and for good reason. With small businesses making up 98% of all companies in the country, we need to make sure they have the tools to succeed. This is where AI can make a real difference. In the piece with Future Economy, I talk about how AI is already helping Canadian SMBs work more efficiently, make better decisions, and free up time for what really matters.
