𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗳𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲. That's the central argument in a new Vogue Business piece on the future of Egyptian cotton. Thank you to the team for spotlighting why the industry needs stronger evidence, not just stronger claims. CottonConnect CEO Alison Ward highlighted how their TraceBale system combines with Haelixa's DNA-based physical traceability to track cotton from farm to finished garment, increasingly aligned with European regulatory expectations. The gap is structural. Brands ask for "Egyptian cotton" without controlling the fibre itself. Physical traceability is built to close that gap. #EgyptianCotton #PhysicalTraceability #Traceability #FashionSupplyChain #Sustainability #Textiles

We offer a bulletproof DNA-based traceability solution that empowers brands to verify material origin and authenticity.
Info
Traceability is in high demand across industries as regulatory pressures increase. Nearly 50% of cashmere, organic cotton, and other premium fibers sold in Europe are counterfeit, despite being certified by global standards. At Haelixa, we offer a bulletproof DNA-based traceability solution that empowers textile brands to verify material authenticity and track product origins from fiber to finished garment. Inspired by the purity of the Swiss Alps, we use natural DNA from native mountain herbs to mark and trace fibers like organic cotton and cashmere. Backed by the expertise of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Haelixa is a globally recognized leader in supply chain transparency. Trusted by major brands like C&A, OVS and Hugo Boss, Haelixa has traced over 30,000,000 garments in 2024.

𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲! Haelixa will be at Pitti Immagine 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶 𝟵𝟵 and we're bringing something worth seeing. For years, we've been working with brands and suppliers to make fibre origin verifiable. DNA markers applied at the source, traceable through every step, forensically confirmed at the end across cashmere, wool, cotton, recycled materials, and more. This time, we're showing it live. Together with Artwell HK, a leading vertical premium cashmere supplier, we'll be demonstrating exactly what that looks like in practice, from farm to finished product. Thank you to World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO for the invitation to present Haelixa at the 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁 hosted at the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 headquarters in Geneva. It was a valuable opportunity for Team Haelixa, represented by Klemens Link and Bruna Coimbra, to discuss how forensic traceability can support brand protection, product authentication and anti-counterfeiting efforts across global supply chains. With ProofDNA™, Haelixa enables brands to mark materials and products with a unique DNA marker, creating a physical proof of authenticity that can be tested and verified. Grateful to be part of the conversation on how innovation can strengthen trust, enforcement and transparency. #BrandProtection #AntiCounterfeiting #ProofDNA #Haelixa #WIPO

𝗜𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗣𝗣-𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗿 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝗣𝗣-𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱? 2027 is the deadline. Most brands are tracking DPP as a compliance project. The ones moving now understand it is a structural shift in how material data is captured, verified, and evidenced across every tier of the supply chain. Paper certifications can be duplicated. A DNA marker cannot. Scroll through to see what DPP readiness actually requires. Ready to dive deeper? 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆. The numbers speak for themselves. The question worth asking is what actually stops a fake. Behind every seized shipment, every recalled product, every brand that spent years building trust only to find it eroded, there is the same gap. 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸. Not a certificate, not a label, not a blockchain entry. That gap is what ProofDNA™ was built to close. "𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀." #2 Next up: Jennie Hope Peterson, Partner at New Focus Textiles. New Focus specialises in circular woven fabrics, turning post-industrial and post-consumer cotton waste into GRS-certified recycled materials. They mark their feedstock with a DNA marker after mechanical recycling. The fibre carries proof through spinning, dyeing, and finishing. Jennie put it plainly: "𝘈𝘵 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘍𝘰𝘤𝘶𝘴 𝘛𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘴, 𝘸𝘦 𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. This week, our Board Member Petri Alava joined the stage at Challenge the Fabric in Paris, taking part in the panel "𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗠𝗖𝗙𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀", a direct conversation on what the industry can honestly claim today, what physical tracing is built to deliver, and where the work ahead still requires everyone at the table. The conversation reflected where the industry really is right now. Regulatory timelines are tightening, sourcing decisions are getting harder, and the gap between what brands commit to and what they can actually verify is no longer something the industry can talk around. Physical traceability won't close every open question, but it does something specific and irreplaceable: 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹. Thank you to Brooke Roberts-Islam for keeping the conversation grounded, and to Challenge the Fabric for building a platform where the harder questions don't get skipped. #CTF2026 #supplychaintraceability #transparency

Organic cotton is grown in harmony with nature, without synthetic pesticides or modified seeds. It is an alternative production model with proven benefits for farmers, ecosystems and for the textile industry, it is one of the few production systems that can meet growing demand for verified, traceable materials. Organic cotton is one of the most scrutinized materials in fashion, because the claims are easy to make, yet the proof is harder to find. Up to date, Haelixa marked with TraceDNA™ 42,000 tons of organic cotton and traced 66 million garments. That gap between claim and verification is exactly what we work on at Haelixa, and the conversation we're looking forward to continuing at the 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 in Istanbul with Textile Exchange and Organic Cotton Accelerator.
