GMF26: Save the date

As public discourse grows louder and more confrontational, this year’s conference addresses the key challenges facing journalism today. Guided by the new motto, “Journalism out loud,” the Forum will convene journalists, media leaders, and experts from around the world on June 23 and 24, 2026, at the World Conference Center Bonn, to examine how independent reporting can assert itself, build trust, and maintain influence in an increasingly crowded public sphere.

The Global Media Forum is supported by the Federal Foreign Office, the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, the Foundation for International Dialogue of the Sparkasse in Bonn, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, the Commissioner of the Federal Government for Culture and Media, and the City of Bonn.
