A grizzled private eye in a sci-fi adventure takes a murder case no one else will touch. He’s seen it all before, but nothing’s prepared him for a conspiracy that leads off-world. Something big is about to happen. Whatever it is... it goes live at midnight.
The top lawyer of showbiz is shot dead, and that’s where private eye Simm Gurnett steps in. Something’s rancid big time, so much so that even the police won’t touch the case. And for good reason: the killer is rumored to be not of this world.
The assassin is far from finished. The killing was only an opening move.

I enjoyed playing it. I also finished their previous game which is the Neon Hearts City, and that made me more excited for this one. The gameplay is fun with puzzles and items that keep you thinking and moving the story forward. I really like how the characters have their own style and personality that it makes the world feel alive and interesting. Because after their last game, I can’t wait to see what the developers have in store next for the full version.

This shit is SO GOOD! Incredible world-building, it really felt like we got dropped into a brand-new world. We love a good detective story, and could feel the inspiration from the classics. That lawyer definitely had it fr*ckin' comin'! Can't wait to see the finished product, we're super looking forward to it!

Impressive collection of detective games. Do you use a game engine? I noticed all your games don't run in the Browser!
Midnight Saturn is being made using Godot. Some of my other games like Tommy Gun Witches use Gamemaker.
My latest game Wingin' It! was made in Wick Editor. It ranked 200th from among 1000 entries in the 2025 Scream Jam.
The demo was too short, the twisted end made me want to play more! When is the release of the full-version? (I've wishlisted it on Steam)

Wow, I immediately recognized the art from the Neon Hearts City, since I can see that some of the bgs were re-used and I thought you were buying pixelart from one same pixelartist. I'm embarassed that I didn't check who made one of the greatest pixelartworks ever! Wow!!!
May I ask where did you learn to draw so great pixelartworks?
I've been doing artwork for my games for six years now, learning as I went. If you're taking your first steps, you may want to start with looking up guides and reading a bit about color theory.

I'd also advocate for a Linux version, but everything runs so well with Proton these days that you needn't bother. Only do it if you want to show some love to us penguins 🐧
