Warning: A LOT OF FOODS ARE ANGRY!  PROCEED WITH CARE.

CookieTrigger is a top-down shooter where you are an indebted chef and need to sell ingredients to survive. Easy Task!

..if these ingredients didn't want to make you waste TIME! And on both sides, time is what decides if you breathe another day or are sold as an ingredient. (That make sense...?)

Anyways, just do it.

Hunt. Sell. Upgrade. Repeat.

These ingredients are not going to go easy on you. So, why should you?

No food was wasted in the process of creating this game. (ok, lowkey a little)

Sometimes, the chef might be kind of determined to walk through the door. You wouldn't judge him, would you?

Kind of fun, but lacks variety once the shooter guys show up. An extra threat or 2 would be nice. Also, HOW do you fuck up so bad that a basic sprite game drops to 20 fps??? Especially in the way it gets worse as time goes on, indicating you must not be cleaning up enemies as they die or something. It's probably an easy fix once you actually look into it - which PLEASE do, the FPS drop makes the game basically unplayable. This is on browser btw

Thanks for the comment! So, I’m taking note of this criterion for more enemy variety, but for now it’s out of scope (I’m already working on something else, since this project went to a game jam). About the browser, I really DON’T KNOW what’s causing this lag. Yes, The enemies do get deleted when they die. In fact, the Windows version runs on a 2GB RAM PC without any FPS drop. I think GameMaker has issues with HTML5.
If you can, please use the Windows version.
Again, thank you for the feedback!

EDIT: I made a patch, I would appreciate it if you could take a look later to see if it solved the problem.

Yup, works a lot better now! Had a lot more fun this time :)

Yay!!
