Dev Blog 004
Welcome back to the dev blog boys and ghouls! I've finally decided on my next big game!
A-BOT RADIO:
A-bot radio got Daily 1st, Weekly 2nd, Monthly 4th and the Review Crew Pick! Thank you all so much!!! Me and a lot of talented people put a lot of hard work into it, I'm glad you like it.
NEXT GAME:
Stuck in prototype hell!
I made SO, SO may prototypes. Testing vastly different games and mechanics. A lot of them were very cool, and I do plan to revisit a few of them in the future, but with each I kept running into a kind of brick wall. I just couldn't quite see the bigger picture, if that makes any sense, and decided against going forward at this time.
HOWEVER, I eventually landed on a game where all the pieces started falling into place. I haven't made any art for it yet, but I have been cranking on the code. I can also kind of see the game in my head, which is very important for me.
I wanted to make a scary game, but nothing really scares me. So I asked myself, what does scare me? I've mentioned the silly thing that scares the hell out of me many times before, so that is your only hint for now.
A plan to enter it's demo in the 2026 Flash Forward game jam! So the deadline is April 20th!
I plan to have more details released before then, but expect them no later than that.
I am very very excited to start making art and showing people this new game. I learned a lot from making FUN HOME, and can't to show you what I've learned. Speaking of FUN HOME...
FUN HOME IS NOW ONLY $5!!
Click here to check out the steam page. Each purchase helps support an indie dev (me).
You can play the DEMO right there on Newgrounds!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH to everyone who picked up a copy at launch, you are the real MVPs.
ART:
BTW, I finished that painting. The client really liked it. I'm glad. I haven't painted in about 10+ years. I missed it a lot. I'll paint something else again soon.

CRASHOUT:
The crashout is real. I don't really give a fuck about anything but making stuff anymore. I don't know how much a cared about social media to begin with, but I have somehow managed to care even less. I love my fans, the community, and the few people I consider friends.
