Doomworld Maximum Project 2023 is a collaborative mapset for Doom II, to which anyone could have submitted their map, regardless of mapping skill. A follow-up to 2023's Doomworld Maximum Project 2022, it was once again led by James Caldwell (Obsidian). The project started on January 1, 2023. The first version was released on February 1, 2024, with version 1.1 followed later on the same day. Version 1.2 was released on February 6. Version 1.3 was released on February 18. The WAD was uploaded to the idgames archive on March 3, 2024.
