This high-end screensaver for Mac OS X is extremely elegant, but you better have a powerful Mac if you want to experience it. Dropclock is a motion clock screensaver in which the numbers drop from the top of the screen into water causing a realistic splash in slow motion. We think it is truly a thing to behold, if you have the power to run it. On slower machines, Dropclock is slow as molasses with significant lag time, and not nearly as smooth as it was intended to be. Overall, if you have a fast machine and want a truly stylish screensaver, Dropclock is an excellent choice.

Aesthetically pleasing clock that is very to the point
Cons
You will be hard pressed to find anyone willing to pay 15 dollars for a screensaver. I literally laughed out loud when I saw the price.

Pros
I like that I can be anywhere in the room and know what time it is, because of the large graphics. I like that it visually captivating. It's uber modern Matrix like.
Cons
I don't feel that it's worth the price. I can see that I may tire of it and want something new. However I'm still only on the trial period and have not purchased it anyway.
Summary
Elegant, captivating, movements which I view as fine art.

Pros
The crisp monochromatic scenes of water and glass are exquisite images which fall into place in a easy manner both askew and correlated. It does this as it reveals the striking contrasts built into this ever evolving revelation of 24:00 hour time in four panels with interactions of glass and water in a highly controlled yet seemingly relaxed visual perception. Movement is important to this screen saver yet it is not distracting. Choices include: Large, Medium, and small.
Cons
Unfortunately $15 is more than I devote to a screensaver. For those who have the funds for Dropclock, I highly recommend it.
