What should Parliament put under the microscope?
MPs invite young people to tell them
The House of Commons Science, Innovation and Technology Select Committee’s job is to put science and tech policy under the microscope, and tell the Government what it can do better. The Committee wants to hear what children and young people think they should investigate next – so why not discuss it with your students?
Register for a free discussion pack (ages 7–18)

International Day of Women and Girls in Science
Celebrate this day on 11 February using our handy Women in chemistry webpage! You’ll find case studies of women scientists – present and historical – plus articles and resources on women’s contributions to chemistry, and information on how to engage young women in the classroom and chemistry careers.
Our A Future in Chemistry webpage also contains case studies that feature women making a difference in scientific roles. There’s a huge range of real-world examples to inspire your students, including chemists who are improving air quality, developing biodegradable plastic packaging, making sustainable cosmetics, testing for food safety, and lots more.
