
Phil Wootton
Phil is an experienced secondary chemistry teacher. For the past 12 years, he has been teaching at Royal High School in Edinburgh, bringing over 14 years of classroom experience and a passion for science education. He is also a co-author of BGE S1–S3 Science (Hodder Gibson) and a frequent motivational speaker at Edinburgh and Napier Universities.
Before becoming a teacher, he spent 26 years as a semiconductor engineer at Motorola, where he received a patent award for engineering excellence. His background allows him to bridge the gap between theory and real-world applications, offering students both academic rigor and industry insight.
