This game was created by a team of two people (husband and wife) for the 2025 GMTK Game Jam edition. The theme was "Loop" and we wanted to make a game about the toy race tracks we played as children.

Build your own race track by placing tiles. The red tile is the initial tile from which your car will start. Pick new tiles inside your toy box and change your track as you wish. You can start the race as soon as you have a loop. Each tile gives a certain amount of points whenever you pass it. Have fun!

Controls:

-> WASD/Mouse to move inside the room (only in room and build modes)

-> R/Mousewheel to rotate tiles

-> Hold/Release Space to move/stop the car (only in race mode)

How do I get enough parts to build something? I see a bunch of corners and a straight and I went to the box and got a few more but I don't have enough parts to make a loop

You should always be able to at least make a small loop, and after each run you can pick more tile in the box to make bigger and cooler loops. Maybe you won't be able to use all the tiles every time but when you draw even more tiles you should be able to use them eventually
