hehe, fallen angles

Y'know, I've been thinking about this comment a lot over the past two weeks, and I just wanna say, what a jerk you are to ask this

please don't take my staus, I need that

oooooooh, so because I had unleveled kris (which only accepted 12) and punch (which only accepted 4), I was basically done for no matter what I did.... that makes so much more sense! thanks!

Lmao, the paper broke because I opened it in fullscreen

I hit him like 30 times and the damage multiplier looks like this now

ooooh, you meant the dice total that causes the damage can only be ones on the wheel. Still was impossible cuz of the wheel showing only 1,5, and 9, but oh well

I feel like I'm being driven mad, cuz the wheel only seems to roll 1,5 and 9, and no matter what amount of damage I deal, they just don't take damage

...DUDE, MOVE!!

Uh, issue with the "imprinting" trait: You can click on items you can't use (such as haggle or earthly weapons if they also have the corporeal trait) and it'll imprint the unused item instead. If this is intentional, very cool.

I took too many die and now my reroll is offscreen and unclickable, probably gonna softlock soon :(

yooo, dude, I can't believe you made a game entirely out of duct tape and hopes and dreams (seriously tho, very buggy. still funny tho, can't wait for more)

jam thumbprint cookie carries, i tell ya. Each win definitely gives you waaay too much money. Short and sweet game either way tho, got something really nice here

Also, I found an invincibility bug, but i dunno how it happened sooo :p

Mild spoilers below:

It's an incredibly nice game, and I love it to bits, buuuuut, there were some little bugs that I thought were silly and wanted to share

So, here they are, in no particular order:

First, the sliding on snow softlock!

You can get softlocked really easily if there's an abomination near some ice. If you slide off the ice into the abomination, you'll crash into it. This also gives you temporary invincibility. Trying to slide further will cause you to softlock, stuck standing above it all for the rest of eternity

Second, crash storage

A bit nitpicky, but when you crash into the wall, little things on the side of the screen show up. You can actually keep these around by getting a game over or switching screens while you crash. Interesting, but doesn't do anything much, and disappears as soon as you crash again. I do bring it up though because it's a forced encounter of the bug when leaving the ice rink.

Third, the water ghost
If you go under the water, you'll have a couple seconds where the polar bear leaves a hole and goes under the water. During this, walking onto land again is possible, and even lets you speedrun grabbing this riceball

This is also the only way (that I know of) to die underwater!

Fourth, the idle slide

If, when crashing after a slide, you quickly move another direction, you'll slide while idling, simple as that.

Fifth, snowball scam

If you talk to a snowman when you have 1 snowball, they'll say you've recieved  2 snowballs, but your total will say 2 snowballs instead of 3! The snowmen think they can get away with scamming me of my snowballs... (I'm mostly sure this is unintentional, since snowmen have dialogue if you already had 2 snowballs)

Sixth, Ice hitboxes
The abominations walk through ice most of the time

But then this guy politely waits for you to move it?! Unplayable

Seventh AND eighth, Walking on ice and broken buttons

Yeah, this just kinda happens here

Ninth, Repeating win noise

Just push an ice block towards a wall after completing a puzzle, fun sound

Tenth, push to win mechanics

Apparently, on the room before you finally escape the snow, the game just forgets to reset the buttons states when you reset the room, letting you complete the puzzle, reset room, then push a block to instantly unlock the gates.

Oh, and a bonus eleventh one, turns out winning the game doesn't reset gates, so you can just run through the game ignoring all puzzles after winning once. You can fix this by gaming over tho, so be careful

anyways, here's some silly graphics stuff to end it off.

a bed hat!

a see-through tree!

A weird looking corner

Alright, thanks for reading, and byeeee!

also, kinda ruins the experience when you get softlocked

great game, love the gore-y feeling of all the textures, but uh, I don't think the camera is meant to do this. Got pretty annoying since this kinda just happens

just gives no bones, and returns all bones you placed to your deck

question, are you meant to not receive a bone when trashing your last domino?

Not anymore! >:D

apparently also an easy way to crash runs too :/

Oh, and also:

super easy to softlock a run like this

This is considered a loop? weird

and I can't place dominoes sometimes cuz of odd angles.

a lot of bugs arise from the visuals of the dominoes being the same as their actual hitboxes :[ ignoring bugs tho, I'd say it's still pretty fun for being so simple.

Oh, this guy has a bug rn where if the block in a match is  ur "last" block (the block furthest left and up) it doesn't consider it. It would've given you the match if you got another cargo

short is definitely the right word for this, but I'd be shocked if you could make this any longer without it dragging on or having more mechanics. Fun for what it is, but what it is ain't much.

oh my god, the silly game got sillier. (look at the little crying dinos, AGH)

very silly game, always got a little smile seeing the meteor wipe out the dinos every time, though I am upset we didn't get an egg skeleton

It's hard running this ship as an atheist

Woah, nice ego you got there

lmao

but... those are the best kinds of games...

also, imagine the snake is hilarious

uh, gunsnake doesn't let me restart when I crashed into the wall? the menu for dying didn't even show up

Okay, I need to talk about the movement, because, holy hell, that needs some improvement. Slopes just don't work sometimes, and getting stuck in W's or V's valley is way too easy. And ceilings will clip your head if you ever try going for a jump in a cave.

Other thing, it annoys me so much that you aren't allowed to delete the borders of bridges you make, I would love to do some building and stuff on my ship, but I can't cuz it'll look terrible with all those little lines around.

Oh, and also, why is it so punishing to die? It's wasting minutes of players time for a single mistake? Idk, my spirit was in ruins every time I died before I got storage.

On the positive side though, I really like this games progression. Could be a little less grindy, but aside from that, it's nice to see your take on a digging game. And also, I know all these problems get somewhat fixed as you progress, but maan, it's kinda mean to torture early-game players this hard.

Oh, right, and the bugs

Okay, so, dirt, right? It's almost guaranteed to fill up your inventory early game. Thing is, you probably won't get to throw it all away if you've had a full inventory for a while, because the final slot of dirt will pill up passed 999. I had to jumped and then teleport back 5 times just to throw away all the dirt in that single slot, would do alot for convenience to fix that.

Other bug is a silly one where if you jump as soon as you land, you'll land stomping and shaking the screen.

And last one is where if you stand just a little off a ledge, you start gaining fall speed, and will eventually be inside the ground. You can get out, but it's definitely not intentional.

well, enemy AI for sniper would probably choose the worst possible result for you, which would be the cargo with the most dots but less than their total damage that isn't plated. Also, pyro sounds crazy with birds (unless you explicitly don't allow that combo to work)

It's encoded in base-64 as to not spoil those reading comments

I'll assume you haven't found greed yet

or maybe they should make the amount it ticks down be a percentage

now I'm just depressed

I had the prince on a boat in the last run, which I assume I kept due to legacy, but I didn't have a boat so they were kinda just floating there next to my boat above the water as I played my game out.
