Cómo utilizar el fichero de inventario

Esta página contiene la información necesaria para crear, validar y subir un fichero de inventario a Amazon. Te
recomendamos que la imprimas para poder consultarla en cualquier momento.

Guarda una copia de este fichero como "hoja de cálculo de Excel" en tu disco duro. Después, introduce los datos
del producto en la pestaña Plantilla siguiendo las pautas que se indican a continuación.

Pestaña Definiciones de datos

La pestaña Definiciones de datos contiene los valores que se pueden usar mientras rellenas la pestaña Plantilla.
Te recomendamos que imprimas la hoja Definiciones de datos para consultarla.
La pestaña Definiciones de datos también indica si un campo es obligatorio, recomendado u opcional:

Obligatorio: los campos obligatorios son los valores mínimos necesarios para crear un producto en el catálogo
de Amazon. En la plantilla, las columnas de los campos obligatorios tienen encabezados en negrita. Si no
introduces un valor válido en un campo obligatorio, no te será posible añadir el producto al catálogo. En función
de los valores que introduzcas en otros campos, es posible que otros datos también sean obligatorios. (Por
ejemplo, si proporcionas un precio en oferta, tendrás que proporcionar una fecha para la misma).

Recomendado: los campos recomendados ofrecen a los clientes la información básica que necesitan para
tomar una decisión de compra fundamentada. Te recomendamos que proporciones datos del producto para
todos los campos bajo la columna Recomendado. Si no proporcionas estos datos, las descripciones del producto
podrían resultar inacabadas o dificultar a los clientes que encuentren tu listing. Por ejemplo, puedes crear una
página en el catálogo para un producto sin proporcionar el precio y la cantidad, pero tu oferta no aparecerá en
la página hasta que proporciones dichos datos.
Opcional: los campos opcionales ofrecen a los clientes información útil, aunque no crítica, para adquirir sus
productos. Te recomendamos que proporciones tantos datos opcionales del producto como sea posible. En
algunos casos, los campos que hemos marcado como opcionales podrían ser importantes para tu producto o
negocio, u obligatorios conforme a tu acuerdo de vendedor.

Valores válidos y Guía de estructura de navegación

Tal como se indicó en la pestaña Definiciones de datos, algunos campos requieren que uses términos de la
pestaña Valores válidos. Dichos términos son específicos del atributo de un producto y se usan para concederle
visibilidad y poder categorizarlo.

Algunas celdas requieren que se usen códigos válidos de la guía de estructura de navegación (BTG). La guía de
estructura de navegación es un fichero de Excel independiente que se puede descargar desde la ayuda del
vendedor. Las guías de estructura de navegación son específicas para cada categoría; estas contienen las
pautas que Amazon sigue para asignar una categoría a cada producto en nuestra página. En ellas encontrarás
asignaciones entre nodos de navegación y términos controlados de Amazon que permiten que los productos se
muestren en esas categorías. En la guía de estructura de navegación de la categoría del producto, localiza el
nodo más adecuado y, a continuación, usa la consulta correspondiente para determinar qué campo y qué valor
tienes que incluir en la plantilla para colocar tu producto en la categoría en cuestión.

Pestaña Imagen
Consulta la pestaña Información de imagen para obtener los estándares de imagen de Amazon. Las imágenes
que subas a Amazon deberán respetar dichos estándares.
Pestaña Ejemplo
Consulta la pestaña Ejemplo para obtener información sobre cómo puedes introducir datos del producto. Esta
información sirve sólo como referencia. Para evitar incluir datos de producto no válidos en el fichero de
inventario, no prepares tus propios artículos en la hoja Ejemplo.
Pestaña Plantilla
Esta pestaña contiene la plantilla a partir de la cual crearás el fichero de inventario. Los encabezados de
columna en negrita indican que los datos son obligatorios. Para obtener los mejores resultados, envía también
tantos datos recomendados y opcionales como sea posible. Si no vas a proporcionar datos para un campo
concreto, puedes dejar la celda en blanco. Si te resulta útil, añade color, negrita, bordes y otros formatos (no
texto adicional) a la plantilla. Ten en cuenta que no se permiten caracteres ASCII (como ®, ©) ni etiquetas
HTML.

Macros de validación
Esta plantilla podría contener macros de validación que te ayudarán a rellenar la plantilla correctamente. Si
están presentes en la plantilla, las macros podrán habilitarse o deshabilitarse según creas conveniente, aunque
te recomendamos que las mantengas habilitadas al menos las primeras veces que vayas a crear y subir un
fichero de inventario.
Consejos para usar las macros de validación:
Habilitar las macros: si deshabilitaste las macros cuando abriste este fichero, tendrás que cerrarlo y volver a
abrirlo para habilitarlas. Puedes hacer esto de dos maneras diferentes:
Opción 1 (recomendada): vuelve a abrir el fichero y marca “Confiar siempre en las macros de esta fuente” en la
advertencia de seguridad. Después, selecciona "Habilitar macros". De este modo, se habilitarán las macros cada
vez que accedas al fichero.

Opción 2: antes de volver a abrir el fichero, establece un nivel bajo de seguridad para Excel. En Excel, en el
menú Herramientas, selecciona Macro > Seguridad y selecciona "Bajo" en la pestaña de nivel de seguridad.

Menús desplegables: algunos campos disponen de menús desplegables donde podrás escoger diferentes
valores válidos. Para algunos de estos campos, deberás seleccionar un valor en el menú desplegable. Ten en
cuenta que no puedes escribir cualquier valor, aunque sea válido. Si se produce un error, elimina el valor
existente y escoge uno alternativo en el menú desplegable.
Otros campos disponen de menús desplegables con valores sugeridos, aunque no son obligatorios. En estos
campos puedes escribir el valor que prefieras. Si introduces un valor que no es válido para el campo en
cuestión, se generará una advertencia de validación cuando valides los datos.

Para hacer desaparecer un menú desplegable, pulsa “Esc”; vuelve a pulsarlo para que vuelva a aparecer.

Barra de herramientas de [Link]: barra de herramientas "flotante" que está presente cuando se
habilitan las macros. Dicha barra proporciona un acceso rápido a Seller Central, una opción de validación y un
botón para activar o desactivar las validaciones. El botón Validar te permite ejecutar una validación de los datos
que se hayan introducido en la plantilla. Dicho botón funciona independientemente de si las validaciones están
activadas o desactivadas. Si cierras la barra de herramientas de [Link], podrás volver a abrirla. Para más
información sobre cómo trabajar con barras de herramientas, consulta la ayuda de Excel.

Archivo .log: las macros crean un fichero .log de errores y advertencias en la misma ubicación de la plantilla
del producto. Las advertencias indicarán qué celdas requieren una entrada. Los errores corresponden a fallos de
la macro. Cuando hayas subido correctamente el fichero de inventario, si lo prefieres, podrás eliminar el archivo
.log.

Importar datos: si en un fichero de Excel hay datos que están en otro formato (como nombres de campos
diferentes en un orden distinto), puedes usar el botón Importar de la barra de herramientas de [Link] para
importarlos a esta plantilla. Los datos disponibles en las columnas con encabezados que sean exactamente
iguales se vincularán automáticamente, independientemente de la parte del fichero importado en la que
aparezcan. Tendrás la oportunidad de vincular manualmente los encabezados que no sean iguales.

Guardar el fichero de inventario

Cuando hayas acabado de introducir los datos del producto en la pestaña Plantilla, guarda la pestaña Plantilla
(sólo) como archivo de texto (delimitado por tabuladores, *.txt); para el Marketplace de China, guárdala como
texto Unicode [*.txt].
Este es el fichero de inventario que subirás por medio de la herramienta Subir fichero de inventario de tu cuenta
de vendedor.
Validar y subir el fichero de inventario
Valida los datos y sube el fichero a Amazon al mismo tiempo haciendo clic en el botón "Subir fichero" de la barra
de herramientas de [Link].
Antes de subir tus ofertas a la página, nuestro sistema validará automáticamente los datos presentes. Los datos
cuya validación falle se indicarán en rojo en el fichero, seguido de una explicación en el comentario de la celda.
Para leer el comentario, selecciona la celda correspondiente. Cuando se complete el proceso de validación,
podrás subir las ofertas independientemente de si la validación ha sido correcta o no; sin embargo, si la
validación no fue correcta, puede que se rechace la subida.
Los errores producidos durante la subida aparecerán en un informe de procesamiento. Dicho informe puede
descargarse desde la sección "Comprobar el estado e historial de los ficheros" de la página Subir ficheros de
inventario de tu cuenta de vendedor.
También puedes ejecutar dicha validación sin subir el fichero haciendo clic en el botón “Validar” de la barra de
herramientas de [Link]. Al aplicar un cambio en una celda, se eliminarán automáticamente el borde rojo de
dicha celda y el comentario correspondiente.
Nota: te recomendamos que la primera vez subas 15 productos o menos para realizar una prueba. Cuando
hayas completado una prueba correctamente, puedes subir el resto del inventario.
Plantillas actualizadas
Cuando [Link] realice una actualización de los valores válidos, de las reglas de validación de datos o del
texto explicativo para los comentarios de la celda de validación de datos, podrás obtener la plantilla actualizada
haciendo clic en el botón Actualizar plantilla de la barra de herramientas de [Link] (necesitas disponer de
una conexión a Internet). Cuando hayas terminado, deberías poder ver los nuevos valores válidos en los menús
desplegables; por otro lado, cualquier nueva regla de validación de datos se aplicará la próxima vez que los
valides.

This page contains information you need to create, validate and upload your inventory file to Amazon. We
recommend that you print  this page so that you can refer to it while you work on the file.

Save a copy of this file as an Excel worksheet on your hard drive. Then proceed to enter your product data into the
Template tab, using the guidelines below.

Data Definitions Tab

The Data Definitions tab contains the acceptable values that can be used as you fill in the Template tab. We
recommend printing the Data Definitions sheet for reference.  
The Data Definitions tab also indicates whether a field is Required, Preferred or Optional:

Required: Required fields are the minimum values necessary to create your product in the Amazon catalogue.
Required columns have bold headings in the template. Failure to enter a valid value in a required field will prevent
your product from being added to the catalogue. Other data may be required as well, depending on the values you
enter elsewhere. (For example, you must provide a sale date if you provide a sale price.)

Preferred: Preferred fields give customers the basic information they need to make an informed purchasing
decision. We recommend that you provide product data for all fields in the Preferred column. Not providing this data
can result in inadequate product descriptions or make it difficult for customers to find your listing. For example, you
can create a page in the catalogue for your product without providing Price and Quantity, but your offer for the
product will not appear on the site until you provide that data.

Optional: Optional fields give customers product information that is useful, but not essential, when making
purchasing decisions. We recommend that you provide as much Optional product data as possible for your product.
In some cases, fields we have labelled Optional may be important to your product or business, or required in
accordance with your seller agreement.

Valid Values and BTGs

As indicated in the Data Definitions tab, some fields require that you use terms from the Valid Values tab. These
terms are specific to the product attribute and are used for making the product easier to find and categorise.

Some cells require that you use valid codes from the Browse Tree Guide (BTG). The BTG is a separate Excel file that
can be downloaded from seller Help. BTGs are category-specific and contain the rules that Amazon uses to assign
products to categories on our site. In each BTG you will find mappings between browse nodes and Amazon's
controlled terms which allow products to surface in those categories. In the BTG for your category, find the category
most appropriate for your product, then use the corresponding query to determine what field and value you need to
put in your template to place your product in that category.

Image Tab
Refer to the Image Info tab for Amazon’s image standards. Images you upload to Amazon must conform to these
standards.
Example Tab
See the Example tab for an example of how to enter product information. This information is for reference only. In
order to avoid including invalid product data in your inventory file, do not work on your own items within the
Example sheet.
Template Tab

The Template tab contains the template from which you will create an inventory file. Column headers in bold indicate
required data. For best results, also submit as much preferred and optional data as possible for your products. If
you are not providing data for a particular field, leave the cell blank. Feel free to add colour, bold, borders and other
formatting (not additional text) to the template if it is helpful to you. Please note that high ASCII characters (such as
® and ©) and HTML tags are not allowed.

Validation Macros
Estándares de la imagen

Cualquier producto en Amazon necesita constar de una imagen como mínimo. Escoge aquellas que
sean claras, concisas y fáciles de reconocer. Las imágenes deben ser una fiel representación del
producto, además de resultar atractivas y estar presentadas con información de calidad. Muestra
únicamente el producto a la venta, incluyendo poco o ningún atrezo. No está permitido el uso de texto,
logos o imágenes intercaladas. Siempre que sea posible, proporciona varias imágenes que muestren un
ángulo y detalle del producto diferente en cada una de ellas. Recuerda que esta es tu oportunidad de
mostrarle el producto al cliente, de modo que la calidad importa.
Amazon se reserva el derecho a rechazar cualquier imagen que no cumpla nuestros requisitos de la
imagen.
Recuerda que es tu responsabilidad el asegurarte de que posees todos los derechos necesarios sobre
las imágenes.

Imagen PRINCIPAL

*El fondo de la imagen PRINCIPAL debe ser de color blanco puro (dicho color se integra con los de las
páginas de búsqueda y detalles del producto, los cuales tienen valores RGB 255,255,255).

*La imagen PRINCIPAL no debe ser una ilustración o gráfico; no debe contener accesorios que no se
envíen con el producto, atrezo que pueda confundir al cliente, texto que no forme parte del producto,
así como cualquier logo, marca de agua o imagen intercalada.
*El producto debe ocupar al menos el 85% de la superficie de la imagen.

Imágenes adicionales

* La imagen PRINCIPAL se ha de proporcionar junto con otras adicionales que muestren diferentes
ángulos del producto, el producto en uso o aquellos detalles que no estén visibles en la imagen
PRINCIPAL. En productos media, estas imágenes podrían corresponder a la contracubierta, páginas de
muestra o capturas de pantalla. Puedes añadir hasta (8) imágenes.

*Se recomienda el uso de un fondo blanco, aunque no es obligatorio. Las imágenes adicionales no han
de incluir logos o marcas de agua, y los atrezos o accesorios deben presentarse de un modo que no
cause confusión al cliente.

Tamaño de la imagen

Las imágenes han de presentar al menos 1000 píxeles de alto o de ancho. De ese modo se podrá
habilitar la función de zoom en la página web (está demostrado que el zoom aumenta el número de
ventas). Nuestro sistema rechazará archivos que presenten dimensiones inferiores a 500 píxeles en su
lado más largo.

Nombre y formato de la imagen

*Amazon acepta formatos de archivo JPEG (.jpg), TIFF (.tif) o GIF (.gif). Se prefieren los archivos JPEG ya
que son de tamaño inferior y, por tanto, se pueden procesar y subir más rápidamente.

*Como sugerencia, puedes darle nombre al archivo de imagen en tu servidor web usando el SKU del
producto como el nombre del archivo seguido por el tipo de vista o la variedad del código --PRINCIPAL,
PT01-PT08 (imágenes adicionales), MUESTRA (normalmente un color de muestra usado en productos
con más de una variante). Ejemplos:

Subir un archivo de imagen

Una vez hayas dado nombre al archivo y lo hayas guardado en tu servidor web, introduce la URL del
archivo de imagen en la celda correspondiente de la plantilla del producto.

Image Standards

Every product on Amazon needs one or more product images. Choose images that are clear,
straightforward, and easy to understand. They must accurately represent the product and be
information-rich and attractively presented. Show only the product that is being offered for sale, with
minimal or no propping. Text, logos, and inset images are not allowed. Whenever possible, provide
several images, with each one showing different angles and details of the product. This is your
opportunity to show your product to your customer, so quality matters.

We reserve the right to reject images that do not meet our image standards.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have all necessary rights to the images you submit.

MAIN Images

*The background for a MAIN image must be pure white (pure white blends in with the Amazon search
and item detail pages, which have RGB values of 255,255,255).
*A MAIN image must not be a graphic or illustration and must not contain accessories that are not
being dispatched with the product, props that may confuse the customer, text that is not part of the
product, or any logos, watermarks or inset images.
*The product must fill 85% or more of the image.

Additional Images

*MAIN images should be supplemented with additional images showing different sides of a product,
the product in use, or details that are not visible in the MAIN image. For media products, this could
include the back cover, sample pages, or screenshots. You can add up to eight (8) images.
*A white background is recommended, but not required. Additional images may not include logos or
watermarks, and all props or accessories must be presented in a way that will not cause customer
confusion.

Image Size

Images should be 1000 pixels or more in either height or width as this will enable the zoom function on
the website (zoom has been proven to enhance sales). Files measuring less than 500 pixels on the
longest side will be rejected by our system.

Naming and formatting

*Amazon accepts JPEG (.jpg), TIFF (.tif), or GIF (.gif) file formats (JPEG files are preferred as they are
smaller in size and can therefore be processed and uploaded more quickly).

*A suggested way to name an image file is to save the image on your web server using the product SKU
as the file name followed by the view type or variant code--MAIN, PT01-PT08 (additional images),
SWCH (usually a colour swatch only used on products with more than one variation). Examples:

Uploading your Image files

Once you have named the file and saved it to your web server, enter the URL of the image file in the
appropriate cell of your product template.

Valor que identifica exclusivamente a un producto, el

cual es asignado por el vendedor. Tras haber asignado
un SKU a un producto, no intentes modificarlo sin antes
haber eliminado en nuestro sistema -mediante un
fichero de eliminación- el producto asociado a éste.

Un título abreviado para el producto. Esta información

se mostrará en negrita en la página de detalles del
producto y en la barra de título de la ventana del
navegador. Si publicas productos child, incluye
parámetros de variante (p. ej., color o tamaño) en el
nombre del producto para diferenciar los artículos.

En una misma categoría, a menudo se definen varios

tipos de producto. Selecciona un tipo de producto en la
lista desplegable de la pestaña "Plantilla" o un valor de la
pestaña "Valores válidos".

Valor alfanumérico estándar único que identifica el

producto. Puede ser un UPC, EAN o GCID. El código debe
contener un número específico de caracteres según el
tipo:
UPC (12 cifras)
EAN (13 cifras)
GCID (16 cifras)

El tipo de identificador estándar y de carácter exclusivo

introducido en el campo "identificador de producto".

La marca o fabricante del producto

Especifica el fabricante del producto

 Si procede, indica el número de pieza del fabricante del
producto. En la mayoría de los productos, es idéntico al

Definition and Use

A unique identifier for the product, assigned by the

merchant. The SKU must be unique for each product
listed. After you have established a SKU for a product,
please do not change it without first deleting the original
SKU from our systems through a delete feed.

A short title for the product. This will be displayed in

bold on the product page and in the title bar of the
browser window. If listing child products, please ensure
to include the color or size in the product's name to
differentiate items.

Within a category there are often multiple product types

defined. Selet a product type from the drop down on
the template tab or the a value from the valid values
tab.

A standard, alphanumeric string that uniquely identifies

the product. This could be a GCID (16 alphanumeric
characters), UPC or EAN. This is a required field if
product_id_type is provided.

The type of standard, unique identifier entered in the

Product ID field. This is a required field if Product ID is
provided.

The brand or manufacturer of the product.

Specifies the type of operation (Update, PartialUpdate or

Delete) to be done on the data provided. If left blank,
the default behavior is "Update."

few specified fields in your file. Only include the SKU(s)
and the fields you want to update.

Amazon-fulfilled products: Do not enter quantity, as it is
not applicable for products fulfilled by Amazon. Instead,
submit fulfillment_center_id in a separate column (see
data definition for details).

Indicates the time, in days, between when you receive

an order for an item and when you can ship the item.
The default leadtime-to-ship is one to two business days.
Use this field if your leadtime-to-ship is greater than two
business days.

Indicates how many items are in the package. Please

use if there are more than one sellable unit of something
in a package. A sellable unit has its own UPC/EAN code.

Specify the Date for when this item can launch on the
site (this applies only to you product uploads after you
have launched). For upload and testing purposes, set
this date to a date at one year into the future. When
you perform the final upload, use previous day's date.

The first date on which you can deliver a pre-orderable

product (one that has never been available prior to this
date) to a customer.

This is the date that a merchant will be able to ship any

back-ordered items to a customer.
Indicates whether the manufacturer has stopped making
the item.
 The sale price at which the merchant offers the product
for sale, expressed in local currency. The site will
strikethrough the product's standard_price and indicate
that the item is on sale at the sale price.
The date that the sale price will begin to override the
product's standard_price.

The last date that the sale price will override the item's
normal price; the product's standard_price will be
displayed afterwards.

Maximum number of items that can be ordered

Indicates the maximum number of these same items

that can be shipped together in the same package.
