Saw a video about the game, thought i would play for like a few minutes, ended up playing for like 7 hours xD. Somethings i think i haven't really maxed out yet, the crates around above the cameras i only found 9/10, the percentage of the big thing on the top of the room didnt seem to go up that fast so i just clipped the bars whit a big plate, really fun game would love to see it go further into lore or gameplay.

Also got inside the elevator, i got stuck tho...

I know I'm nobody to ask you this, but could you make a mobile demo? I was really excited to play it, but my laptop is so bad it won't run, and I don't know how to play it. Thanks Thank you for reading my comment, if you do. I know it's difficult, but could you please make the mobile demo free? I don't have the money to buy a game. Thank you so much for reading this Comment

This this pretty cool, but I think this would be really cool if friends could join

Also, maybe a upgraded version of the broom, fan, and magnet? The box and panel get them, so it feels weird that the other tools dont.

tried to play but it felt like 1 fps and not even a second after loading in to the game it crashed:( really disapointed, I was exited to play. but overall looks cool in video:)

I'm sorry to hear that, the only thing I can think of is the FPS not having a limit at first, it will be fixed on the steam demo version (that will be out June 10)

thanks im exited

i destroyed all the cameras and went through the gates of the pipe with the cash register and went all they way up but didnt see anything is there supposed to be nothing there?

It's just a small teaser for now, don't worry, soon more content will be available in the upper area 😊

Create levels like: Phase 1 (small hole), Phase 2 (bigger hole), Phase 3 (very big), Phase 4 (enormous), and Phase 5 (can grow infinitely).

Well, the full game progression is a bit similar, I hope it'll be satisfying for you ;)

I cant download it :( im on mac, when I double click the .zip file it just takes me to the file, it doesn't play it just shows me all the files.

That "I can see you" message was definitely quite startling, but letting the player break the cameras with ducks to prevent it is also really cool! I used the box physics to climb to the top of the map as well as the delivery pipe and didn't find anything though

(+2)

Thanks, yes, for now there isn't much to see up there, expect more moments like that to explore up and having more to find in the full game ;)

Discovered a bug or two that I can't write in the feedback form without re-doing all the details, don't wanna clog up your inbox. It's a classic one; if you buy a big panel, stand on top of it, pick it up, and jump over and over again, you can fly! I'm pretty sure it works with all items in the game, dunno, haven't tested it too extensively. Quitting to menu then pressing "continue" to load back in crashed my game. I happened to be done with it by that point so no biggie, but you might want to look into that. Linux works flawlessly btw, not sure if you tested it, some devs don't know how to, but I thought I'd mention that.

Great game, keep up the good work!

Thank you for your feedback, Here is a good place to report bugs (the discord server is here for that too, but I get that joining only for that is tedious).
For the first one, it's actually with every objects, yes, and it was a bug at first, but it became a feature now, it's fun and not game breaking, so I'm keeping it haha
The second one is an actual bug, it should be fixed since the latest demo version, but I'll double check.
No I haven't tested the linux and mac versions yet, not extensively at least (I just know the game lanches and doesn't crash when starting) but it seems it works pretty well, yes, thank you for telling me, I'm really happy as it will allow more people to be able to play it !

Thanks again, I really appreciate you taking the time to play the demo and give me feedback on it, it really helps a lot !

Ok so don't destroy the cameras because it shut down your pc, you can destroy the cameras by throwing stuff at it

You had a crash when destroying the cameras ?

Yes i did was it intentional? well it doent shut down it restarts the pc, i tought the game hacked me so i uninstalled it 0_0

sorry for the late reply i didnt notice i had a message.

Love the concept. Beat the demo in a bit over an hour, like 1:20. I filled 4 small boxes at a time with ducks and put them in the pit in short succession to get big combos for early money. After that I figured out that I could stick a fan right on the output of the duck maker to shoot them towards the pit without them ever touching the ground. Built a backboard with some panels and used magnets and some more fans to direct them into the pit quickly. Set up a fan on the auto duck maker and all I really need is to get the ducks close to my magnet/fan/panel backboard. It was pretty smooth sailing from then on out because I did not need boxes at all and the ducks only made 2 or 3 bounces in total in their journey (one off the backboard usually, then one or two down the sides of the pit as the fan launches them straight down). The reason I share this in such detail is because I want to make sure this is an intended way of beating it. I toyed around with making panel-box pipes with fans and magnets to direct them in, but launching them through the air as soon as they shoot out of the machine was so much more efficient once you lined the fan up right. Still, love the game idea and could see a lot of potential in the systems. Mechanics that force the player to deliver a certain rate of ducks would be interesting, or requiring bulk "feedings" that require the player to make a method of accumulating ducks and dumping them all at once for a big combo. A "quality control" mechanic might be interesting too, in which ducks have varying levels of quality and can require the player to sort the ducks somehow. There's ways I could imagine you doing that using the physics engine, such as a "bad" duck that weighs more and so will be able to be sorted using fans or magnets. Obviously that lends towards traditional conveyor built style automation. Is a conveyor belt in the cards for this game or is the point supposed to be untraditional methods for automation.

Hey ! Thank you so much for the detailed feedback, it is always interesting to smart ways to beat the game :)
It is intended that people find ways to beat it in a way that feels not intended, but works, it is a sandbox and I want players to fins smart ways or even break the game, as long as they have fun it's ok (I fix issues and bugs killing the gun out of it but keep the funny ones in), so yeah, not everything is designed and I know people will find ways to beat the full game I never thought about but that's what's the game is about yes !
The game won't have traditional conveyors but tools will be available to build your own conveyor system, and I'm trying to make it so there is not one unique solution for it and people can play how they want (and if putting all the ducks and other products manually in is the way the player want to play the game, that will be possible, even if that's not the most efficient way to do it)
I have already some different ways to make more profit with similar (but different) to what you described for the quality control, but I designed it as a bonus and not a mandatory way to do it (I'll have a lot of balancing to do haha)
I know with only the demo content it is a bit hard so see where I'm going with this and I hope the full game won't disappoint.
Thank you again for your feedback, it helps shaping it toward something not disappointing (that's what I'm hopping haha)

Awesome man, real excited for it. I wishlisted it on Steam. Excited to see future updates because there's so many creative directions you could take this concept!

Windows protect my PC how I can play

i noticed in the keybinds q does something but what

(-1)

un muy buen jueg

Cool Game :3

(-1)

cool concept. i'll wait until it's done before playing it tho! too many bugs to make this enjoyable

Thank you !
I understand.
Could you tell me what specific bugs you encountered ?

Just two I noticed. The ducks falling through the box and the lever sometimes doesn't register. Also just a suggestion if you would make tab the back button out of the upgrade menu instead of esc. Most people like tab because it's more accessible! I tried changing the keybind for it and got stuck on the screen having to restart my game to get out of it

(+1)(-1)

Would be good if the physics didn't suck. Ducks keep falling out of boxes and very unenjoyable to play

I'm sorry, I'm working to fix issues, I just released a new version, maybe this one will have less issues for you ?

(+1)(-3)

dont go up there is nothing

Not much, indeed, this will change in the future and in the full game for sure !

(+1)

Super cool demo! I like the ability to construct more complex systems for getting the ducks into the hole, but my caveman brain just settled on holding the magnet by the auto dispenser, flattening them in the press to let the magnet hold more of them, and just dropping off giant piles of flat ducks all at once.

Gives off Berry Bury Berry vibes, especially with the hinting at other things going on in the facility.
I spent an embarrassingly long amount of time stacking crates on top of the hydraulic press to climb up the scaffolding after destroying the cameras. Can't wait to see what the plan is for that in the future!

(+2)

Thank you so much for this detailed and encouraging feedback !

I want to give the player tools and have multiple ways to play the game, there is no real intended ways to do it, some people will minmax the game as soon as possible, some will make fun contraptions and other will do everything by hand, and I want that each player have fun while playing as they like as much as possible !

And yes, I try to add hints and reward exploration (not up to the expectations yet but I'm working on it !)
Thank you again, I'm really glad you had a great time with it !

(+3)

when will the crown ever do anything it feels like a side mission for nothing when i put it in the pit it wont work for diversity combos so what does it do

(+2)

It's just a teaser for the full game content (note this is a demo and I'm working on the full game content too)

OMG never mind, just found it in the upgrades, I'm dumb

No worries, I might add something to make it more clear, don't feel dumb, I really need to step up the clarity of the upgrades and such !

(+1)

I played an earlier demo and loved it.  I decided I wanted to play again, but this time the panels and fans don't stick.  As soon as I let go of them they just fall over, or get blown away.  Is this a bug?  Is there a fix or something I'm doing wrong?  Or can I get an earlier version? :D

(+1)

At first, I was totally hooked on collecting ducks and upgrading!
But when I realized there was something hidden in the facility and started exploring, that chilling, spine-tingling fear was intense.
It was so much fun, meow! (=^・ω・^=)

(+1)

Thank you so much for playing it ! It was fun to watch you explore, I'm sorry there isn't much to discover yet, I'm working hard to add content for the full version !

This is an amazing demo! I had such a great time playing this; I got so engrossed into the game flow that I played for a lot longer than I had originally planned. I'm extremely excited to see where the full game leads; eager to learn more about the world that has been created here. Great job! :D

(+2)

Thank you so much, I'm so happy you liked this little demo as much as you did !
I hope the full game will be this pleasing from start to finish !

(1 edit)

I just played the update, and it was nice not having ducks getting stuck in panels. Overall it’s a well-done game for just being an early-release demo. I’ll be keeping an eye on this project.

Edit: One issue is that the middle mouse button is very hard to use on a lot of mice that combine the button with the scroll wheel. Perhaps some other key could be used instead of (or as an alternative to) the middle mouse button for rotating objects.

Thank you for your kind words and the feedback !
You should be able to change the middle mouse button to any other input in the control options (unless it is not working, but last time I checked it was working as intended)

Yeah, remapping it to V worked like a charm. I should have checked the configuration options from the start.

No problem ! But I'll think about changing it as a default key maybe, if that's an issue for too many people

I really like this game and its atmosphere! Was planning play for 15 min and spent few hours, just addicted. Is there something upstairs? I destroyed all the cameras, tried my best in platforming, but didn't find anything :)

(+1)

Thanks, it warms my heart that my silly little demo was so addictive to you !

Yes, there is something at the very top, but nothing game changing, just some lite teasing (more planned in the full game)

Best demo game ive ever played no joke lowkey most demo games have no work done like mine terrible graphics probably but this has it all perfect graphics and it has fun gameplay of throwing a duck in  a hole and pressing down air to make a duck and upgrades. Best game.

Thank you, I'm really happy you had suck a great time ! I hope the full game will be the same experience for you !

I NEVER EVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE manually decided to come here just 2tell you:

The mechanics and speed... oh baby~ thats the only thing keeping me playing. this is SICK.

Oh and also the text is gigantic on bigger displays.

<3

(+1)

Thank you so much for taking the time to write me this !

Yes maybe I should cap the max size displayed haha

AMAZING GAME!! pretty addictive! Also, i don't know if someone else got this bug but i was playing the game and i saved the game with 407$ only boxes and panels. I stop playing for a while and i get in to play again until i find out i have the hydraulic press out of nowhere. (I NEVER reached to 5000$)

Thank you !

Yes, I have a bug with the saves, I have to fix this

Cool game, even if it is simple, i really like the conept.
I really like the psx stylw! Hope this game comes to steam.

(+1)

Thanks, yes it'll come to steam, first as a demo and later as a full released game

(+1)

Amazing game!

Thank you for making and sharing content, I can see you really put some effort to explain the game !

(+1)

Very good demo with a super immersive retro DA and an addictive concept! You quickly understand the benefit by experimenting for yourself.

Some ideas for the future: the crafting interface is a little confusing (too much text) and the construction tools sometimes lack efficiency compared to manual mode. Adding sound design and random events would also break the routine and make you less tired.

A very promising and original solo project, looking forward to seeing the next updates!

Thank you so much ! I'm really glad you liked it this much !

Yes, I planed to change the progression so you unlock tools and upgrade by playing so you are not overwhelmed by all of it in the upgrade terminal.

Also the game will have some challenges along the way so it's not always the same !

Great then! I can’t wait to see all this later !

(+1)

i come here everyday to see if there's anything new. Nice to see there's a new updated, waited a lot!

Is there any new gameplay feature / easter egg?

My experience in performance always was great so that part is not relevant for me rn :)

(+1)

That's some dedication !
(I just opened a Discord server if you haven't joined yet ;) )

No new gameplay feature or easter egg this time, sorry, it was a lot of under the hood work, the wait for the next update should't be as long as this one

(+1)

Nice game! There's some glitches (stuck ducks, and crafter/press not respawning on reload) but the game is interesting and addictive!

I got the crown!

Thanks ! Yes a lot to fix, I fixed some but I'll keep working to make it better !

(+1)

First off, I love the game. Great visual and auditory feedback, really nice PSX vibe to it, and it doesn't feel boring! Absolutely addictive, but I've come across some minor bugs that could be fixed

-The lucky-duck collision breaks when carried in boxes, causing them to clip through and fall out
-Looking at one of the rungs of the gear on the manual workbench and interacting causes the animation and interaction to spaz out because the hitbox isn't in between
-Objects that are stuck to other objects shouldn't stay stuck when disconnected, leaving them floating in mid-air
-Equipped objects clip into the floor when looking down
-Ducks at high speeds via fans interact weirdly with slanted plates, either stopping or launching off of them at Mach-9. And also on some accounts, ducks will just fly through plates if their speed is high enough
-The combo text would disappear randomly for some reason

I also have some suggestions for QoL changes and features that could be made to make the game feel better

-The magnet range feels a bit small, feels a bit inconsistent at times
-Adding more precise automation could be nice by adding objects that can toggle other objects when a certain requirement is met. Eg: when this object detects x number of ducks, activate the object connected
-certain objects having heavier weights to them, so boxes can't be tossed by a single duck
-Adding a more reliable form of transportation for ducks would be nice, fans, even if harnessed in the right way, are way too unpredictable and fast

Thank you, really, that's some deep feedback, really valuable !

Most of the physics issues are already fixed (collision ones at least) and I will be working on the rest, the visual ones like the tools clipping is noted but as it is not game breaking it's lower on the priority list, so thank you for letting me know !

As for your Qol suggestions, most of it will be "fixed" in the full game as I designed the first tools to be not the most reliable and easy to use, so the upgraded version are really better and allow more complexe contraptions building, but I get why it doesn't feel complete right now

can you fix the ducks getting in the plates/walls? maybe the physics are broken

Yes, the physic settings will be changed and fix this issue in the next update !

My 1 hour run ended due to a mess of large plates and activated magnets getting stuck in the tube, and due to how high it was I could not unjam it before the height check respawned me. Definitely need to fix that for full release.

It should be fixed in the latest version as I made it so tools are disabled when spawned back (and made the tube a bit bigger too)

Huh, I would have thought the fix would be to make plates not get stuck in place unless released by the player. Good to see the game is improving, will wait for Steam demo and definitely buy the full game.
