Audio Usage Policy

  • You can use all of my tracks here on Geometry Dash…
  • You can also use my original music to your projects, like a video/movie/animation, a game, a remix/parody, AI training etc…
  • But, I won't let you use any of my remixes/remakes/covers as chances are you'll get a copyright strike from the OG creator. I'll delete them on this platform soon, only keeping my original music…
  • IDGAF if you'll credit me or not, but please lemme know if you're gonna use it. I would love to see your works and how you will use it. Just shoot me a DM or contact me on my socials: https://gdjkhp.github.io
  • I'm in a process of releasing all my original music to streaming platforms and I am not planning to set Content ID detection…
  • But if something shit happens in the future (probably demonetization), please contact me and/or show me this post and I'll help you remove the copyright strike so you can monetize your work…
  • I have no plans on monetizing my original music…
  • Oh you can also contact me if you want to get whitelisted on GD…

Life Update

UPDATE: Taken from my rough last post, corrected some grammar

Every music I've made was a mistake, and everything is out of place. My style is too old for the modern era of music, where everyone uses autotune for some reason… I'm just a dude with literally no experience for this shit, and I think I'm doing a pretty decent job on it although I call them "little to no effort was made", "trash", "work of a demon", "spawn from hell", "shitty", and my personal favorite, "will you do more than a loop 20 times in a row?", but that's just me ig…

2015

Entering high school changed everything (2015), I've met friends that have the same interests as mine (mostly playing games) and music is not that far from getting a chance to get into my life. There's this game, Geometry Dash, and it just sucks that I suck at playing this game. It was a hit back in the day when I was in 7th grade. Phones were expensive back then and I don't even have one. I remember borrowing my friends' phones just to play the game, but I'm more like a spectator myself watching my friends play games than playing the actual game…

2016

Then the next year (2016), I became an 8th grader, everything changed. I got a chance to get an actual android device, a samsung tablet (sm-t210), and an actual laptop (acer aspire). I played games on these platforms the hell of it. Counter-strike, Minecraft, PvZ, you name it. I even played multiplayer games with my friends at school such as Mini Militia, BombSquad, and I even hosted a Tekken 3 tournament haha. But Geometry Dash piqued my interest the most. It's this simple gameplay mechanics and weird-ass music. I got really addicted to it. Custom featured levels really got me into it, with still its weird-ass sounds but with even more difficult gameplay with its current state, moving, colorful aesthetic, and invisible objects update, Update 2.0. Then Alan Walker came out of nowhere. A friend of mine (you know who you are) has this app called "Unipad", and I was really confused. I literally got no music knowledge but I remember he said something like, it was a launchpad software where you can play music (visible confusion). He shows off his skills on playing it with the song "Faded" (I got literally no idea what's going on) but one thing is for sure that while he plays the tracks, it also has its weird sounding like the music of "Geometry Dash". Then here's another dude (again you know who you are). He got really into Alan Walker's music. And we played the hell out of it. With every song we could find, they got me into the EDM rabbit hole (The Chainsmokers, DJ Snake, Martin Garrix, MDK, TheFatRat, wait I know these artists, OH SHIT GD!!!!??!!?). Take note everything happens within the timespan of 2015-2016.

2017

Then 2017 kicks in. Update 2.1 was revolutionary. I got the chance to play Geometry Dash while listening to music even more. Then this game popped out, Piano Tiles 2. I played the shit out of it and I'd learned the word "nostalgia", with it's libary of classical music. This made me realize that playing the piano is really difficult, and I was right! (More on that later) The Golden/Dark age came, 9th grade high school (mid 2017). This is where everything started for real. Our school installed a Wi-Fi system for free! But with the limit of 30mins per device, later on, it became 1hr but I found an exploit that makes it 2hrs per device by changing the device's physical mac addresses (I have a phone + tablet + and a laptop hehe). And now I've got the title of a hecker, wait I'm not gonna talk about how I became a tech addict, let's talk about how music opened a possibility in my life. Internet becomes expensive as time goes by, and it's because of the school's Wi-Fi system, it changed my ways of life. This also opened many possibilities including music. I even go to school during weekends just to get into using the internet, it became a habit of mine. I even got caught sneaking inside, but I befriended the school guards so i get the ok pass.

Remember how I got into thinking about playing the piano? Here goes… We got a lesson in music in which we got to sing and play the piano as a group, and we failed horribly (I don't wanna talk about it). After the lesson ended, our teacher sent us an app called "Pianist HD: Piano +". It's just a simple piano app, and this got me into the piano. I tried playing some of my favorite music, more on the less popular ones tho, like Yiruma's sad tracks, music from the Piano Tiles, etc. But then I tried playing some weird-ass GD music, and I couldn't find some tutorials from it, so I tried playing them by ear. It was easy at first but as music becomes complicated, the harder it is to play. I tried some alternative ways to play the piano, and then I've found FL Studio. I slapped it on my PC, then after seeing it was too complicated, I tried placing notes on the piano roll, it went fine. After that, I dropped it didn't bother to open the app again for a very long time (things get fuzzy here cuz I grabbed the free version which doesn't support opening flp files, what a bummer). Then I stole a keyboard (it's from my grandma) and at last! I got the chance to get an easy instrument to play music (I have a flute, and later a guitar but those were harder). And I felt pretty awesome playing it as time flew by. But at some point, my parents told me it's too loud and consumes a lot of power (it's an electric keyboard btw) and it'll be expensive to pay the bills… So I had to stop at that point cuz of this shitty reason… I need to find a way to express this shitty music… To scratch this itch, I decided to crack FL Studio. As a self proclaimed hecker, everything on the internet is free, said by the richest man in the universe, probably. Many trials and errors (with a lot of viruses, thanks thepiratebay) and I had success in getting a copy of the signature edition of the software (This also kickstarted my career as a "crack dealer", not drugs but software). I also learned how to install plugins, where to get and download sample packs, checking out other people's remakes of pop songs and downloading their flps (that also became a bad habit of mine, collecting these like it's pokemon). Then I meet friends, who also make sick beats and music and the rest is history… shoutout to whitefire, limegd, cyrus, jinyx, catplush, samuel, mk-999, cymontunes…

UPDATE: here's the continuation if you're still interested. i realized i cut the story too short lol

2018

Let's skip 2018 10th grade as nothing really notable happened other than graduating junior high.

2019

It's 2019 senior high grade 11, I'm still that quiet lame nerd who's into games and music as before but this time, the school have UNCAPPED UNLIMITED WIFI! my mom took a gamble and enrolled me to a private school, and it paid off for me at least so thanks mom! With these much freedom, there's just so much to explore, like new games, movies, trends, and most of all, YouTube. I felt like a kid that learned how to use the internet for the first time again. I finally have more time to check out and research music stuff. I decided to watch FL Studio YouTube tutorials, but not really, like composerly, simon servida, dylan tallchief, just to name a few. This was also the time that made me think hmmm I should start uploading my own music. Still playing geometry dash, I remembered this site, Newgrounds, the home of weird-ass music. Ahhh I still remember those days, Xiao Xiao, Henry Stickmin, flash games, that time I got banned for uploading mp3s as I thought it's a music sharing piracy site, that time I got banned again for uploading only premade loops as I thought it counts as original music. So this third time around, I gave it another chance, and uploaded my first ever original song, "ROAST.MP3" and it's realllly bad bruh. It's supposed to be a diss track to my brother and it turned out to be a goofy ahh club banger type of music, that really fits here in Newgrounds now that I think about it hahahaha. I tried cooking more but the next uploads I did leaned towards remakes.

2020

2020, the year of the pandemic. For a social outcast like me this was a dream come true. You cant leave the house, classes are online, I have the time of my life. I wasted no time, I game, I started studying programming hardcore, fucking love the steep learning curve. I enjoyed coding a lot, even made game prototypes. In music, I explored FL Studio even further. I started uploading the collection of my original music, this so-called ".MP3" series, and remixes. I hate them all so much. This sparked my self-hatred to every thing I create on FL Studio. I dropped FL Studio again, for 9 months.

2021

2021, 12th grade senior high, last year of my high school life. I focused my ass to programming and gaming, then I picked this DAW up again. I've gone full electronic, had collabs and made fire with my friends. I graduated highschool and y'know what that means…

2022

2022, my college arc. classes are still online, and oh boy, what could possibly go wrong. I fell into the anime rabbit hole. I dropped an album on newgrounds of all songs I made from 2021-2022 and joined the 20th anniversary collab of the Newgrounds audio portal, then dropped FL Studio again for the 3rd time.

2023

2023, the year of my AI career. I got so hooked into the tech of machine learning, prompt engineering, large language models, text to image, I even tried local inference (gpt4all) and was forced to use linux. I made an AI Discord bot that does stuff, and an AI surveillance system for my school thesis, all in my GitHub. I stopped posting on Facebook as I don't really use the platform that much anymore other than posting anime updates. I post all my anime stuff now on MyAnimeList

2024

2024, been really busy with college, AI thesis, and on job training. Opened FL Studio again and made beats every now and then but not as frequent as it used to before. only 4 songs + 1 collab uploaded that year alone. I got scared that it may be the last sounds i'm ever gon make on FL Studio, and also the fear of getting a job. Had to drop FL Studio again the 4th time for this.

2025

It's the big 2025, got a job, still an anime nerd and I still game. I got bored and opened FL Studio again, met more cool people like KazaBraza on Newgrounds Audio Pub discord server, getting frontpage for the first time, and Santi after I opened my Facebook again to visit the music producer gc and met him there and asked him if we can do a collab, and got weekly featured. I also made the day theme of the slugg dogg adventures, a sandbox game. I decided to push hiphop, made cool sounds, and graduated college. Life is good cuz I managed to get an FLkey mini, so far so good. I have plans on releasing my previous album + all my new stuff to streaming platforms on 2026 so till then see ya and have a happy new year!
