How do you plan to handle cloudapi v2?

Cloud API is perfect, and will never have to be improved. Therefore there will be no version 2.

In all seriousness, I haven't given it much thought. My initial reaction is that this library will be opinionated as to which version is used, however that might not fit use cases where people want to test out beta versions. I would love to hear your thoughts on this, and I think we are early enough in to make API changes where necessary.
