Replace README.md with instructions for install and run

Now that we have the tutorial in docs, can we replace the README with instructions for installing and running the app?
Move the tutorial text to a tutorial.md.

Oh, it's already in index.html. It'd be nice to keep it in Markdown, but not high priority.
