The other day, I installed 0h h1 on my rooted (nothing special – just done to stop ads) Android phone. When I launched the program, it popped up a small ‘banner’ that read “Hey there, /n Level X” (which, I have learned, is from Google Play Games). Annoying, but okay.
However, when I launched Shortyz, I saw the same logo. So, I uninstalled 0h h1, assuming that the banner would go away, but it didn’t. I then rebooted my phone, but the banner is still there.
It was suggested that since Google Play Games was never installed on my phone, that I install it, launch it, remove its cache/data, force stopped it, and then uninstalled it. I did that, however, the effing banner still appears when I launch Shortyz.
What else can I try?
