paragraph spacing in column format


Hi having recently updated my slides to a 16:9 format, I often split the slides in two columns.

The problem is that formatting is totally different in a column environment, for exemple no spacing between paragraphs, it looks packed and ugly.

Any suggestion to how can I preserve the spacing/formatting in column env ?
