Sign in with Google infinite loop

Before submitting a bug report

• I updated to the latest version of Multi-Account Container and tested if I can reproduce the issue
• I searched for existing reports to see if it hasn't already been reported

Step to reproduce

Sign in with Google on claude.ai inside a container tab.

Actual behavior

When you try to sign in with Google it keeps opening another window and then shows a popup asking you to sign in with Google, which, when clicked, opens up another popup which asks you to sign in with Google and you get stuck in this infinite loop without it ever actually signing you in.

Expected behavior

It should automatically refresh your login token instead of popping up a sign in window.

Also effects:

• Youtube:redirects to accounts.google.com then returns to youtube.com/oops
• 3rd part sign-ins with Google: opens a new tab and then errors/goes nowhere

It could happen if you have added google.com or accounts.google.com to the Always Open This Site in list of some container. Generally it is a bad idea to do it because these could be used for Google Authentication and being in the list will trigger switching container and loosing initial context.

If it is in the list then try to remove it and test again.

I'm not using the "Always Open This Site In" option, but I am using the "Container Home Pages" extension with it set to "https://claude.ai" for each of my container tabs.

To further add context to the issue, the primary (non-container) account in my Firefox browser works fine for logging in with Google SSO. It is only the containers that I am using to log in with my other Google accounts that are breaking.
