Hey, Make sure Pages is enabled: Go to your repository -> Settings -> Pages, and confirm that a branch (usually main) and folder (/root or /docs) are selected for deployment. Check Actions logs: Under Actions -> Pages build and deployment, open the latest run and see if it completed with a green check mark. If it failed, click the red “X” to view the error. |

You do not have an index.html file in your root and i checked your website, it says "ERROR: DNS_PROBE_POSSIBLE", so I reckon there are two issues. |

You do NOT need a separate web host Make sure an index.html file exists Use: If using a custom domain |

It sounds like you’re very close, you’re just missing one key step 🙂 If you’re using GitHub Pages, you do not need a separate web host. GitHub acts as the host, but your site will only go live if Pages is set up correctly. Here’s what to check, in simple terms: Make sure your files (like index.html) are pushed to the correct branch (main or gh-pages). Go to Settings → Pages and confirm the source branch and folder. The workflow you see in the Actions tab (“Pages build and deployment”) is normal, it means GitHub is trying to build your site. After a successful build, it can take a few minutes for the site to become accessible. If the site still doesn’t load, it’s usually because there’s no index.html at the root or the wrong branch/folder is selected. You don’t need extra hosting, just the correct GitHub Pages setup and a successful build. |

Currently i have gotten to the point where i have linked everything to visua studio code, I also applied for the website name.
Now when i go to the actions tab and follow that to all workflows under that it states pages build and development. it send me to a workflow style chart with the website i applied for?
ultimately i did not because everytiome i open the site its not up and runining. do i have to add a web host or do i need to do something else?
