I was looking for a better urwid calendar widget recently and discovered this project. I was wondering if you had considered releasing the UI bits (particularly but not limited to the calendar widget) as a separate package, as it seems like the kind of thing that could be generally useful for others developing urwid apps.

We've also discussed moving some custom widgets shared between khal and todoman to a separate package at some point.

It sounds like a good idea, but I guess it's just a matter of somebody having enough interest to work on it. ^^

@WhyNotHugo : Well, I do maintain a project containing some other widgets I've developed. If your developers think it makes sense, I could bring CalendarWidget and whatever other generally useful widgets you think merit inclusion between khal and todoman.
