For I have stared directly into the abyss. I have walked the narrow road through temptation, through mystery, through whispered corruption in the shadow of holiness itself. And that road, brethren, had a name: Divine Degeneracy.

Now church, I know what some of y’all are thinkin’. “Pastor, why would you willingly march yourself into a tale of forbidden desires, suspiciously attractive nuns, and enough red flags to make a deacon sweat through his Sunday best?” And to that I say: SOMETIMES THE LORD TESTS US.

I entered this experience expecting cheap temptation and hollow spectacle. I prepared myself for the digital equivalent of wandering into a gas station at 2 a.m. and purchasing questionable theology from a clearance bin.

BUT BROTHERS AND SISTERS, I WAS NOT PREPARED. For hidden beneath the veil of scandal and whispered corruption lies a mystery so compelling that I found myself saying, “Just one more scene.” Then one more. Then suddenly the birds outside had begun singing and I realized I had been spiritually ambushed by a visual novel.

The village of Solemn? Drenched in unease. The convent? Suspicious enough to make even the strongest believer start side-eyeing locked doors. Every whispered conversation had me clutching my metaphorical pearls asking, “WHAT ARE Y’ALL HIDING IN THIS ABBEY?”

And church… let us speak of the atmosphere.

Honeylust Games did not simply build a setting. No, brethren, they constructed a SANCTIFIED PRESSURE COOKER OF SUSPICION. Every corner of this holy little nightmare hums with tension, temptation, and the unsettling sensation that somebody somewhere knows more than they’re saying.

And then there is Faith.

BROTHERS AND SISTERS. I tell you plainly: this child of devotion did not merely arrive upon my screen, no. She arrived carrying enough emotional conflict to fuel an entire revival tour. Watching devotion wrestle against doubt, innocence stumble toward dangerous curiosity… I bore witness, church. I BORE WITNESS.

Now let me be clear: yes, temptation exists within these digital halls. The title itself has warned us. But what surprised me was this: beneath the scandal beats an actual story. Mystery! Consequences! Secrets buried so deep beneath this convent that I half expected someone to uncover ancient tax records proving corruption since 1842.

And let me issue a warning to the unbelievers among us: do NOT approach this game expecting your choices to feel meaningless, for suddenly you will find yourself staring at the screen whispering, “Wait… should I trust this person?” as though you personally reside in Solemn and your spiritual mortgage depends on the outcome.

So brothers and sisters, if you seek mystery, atmosphere, temptation, and enough holy unease to keep you clicking “next” far later than originally intended, I say unto you:

Divine Degeneracy may test your spirit… but it sure knows how to keep your attention.

I liked Mother in Lust, but it left me with an emotional void in my chest.

Just another great Honeylust game but definitely a better quality, from the Art to the way the story plays out, 

the story moves towards your name at the beginning instead of just asking for it at the beginning, There being a corruption meter as well shows that Honeylust is improving with each game, I do also like the simple comedy of breaking the fourth wall.

I can't wait for updates and possible the ability to chat up more than one of the Vendors.

Honestly, I've got my fingers crossed that we return to this setting. I'd happily take more time with Thorne, Rosemary and Scarlet!!
