Crowdfund Budget Worksheet

We've used versions of this sheet to plan our own Kickstarter campaigns, including Before the Bog God, Mörk Sol, and The Beckoning Dream. We firmly believe it has helped us plan these successful projects more effectively than we could have without it, and we want to share that success with you! Use it to gut-check your funding goal, plan stretch goals that won't kill your project, and plan for the hidden fees (shipping, ad spend, printing budgets) that are easy to miss. And for the love of everything, don't forget to pay yourself!

There is nothing magical about the sheet on its own: it's merely a guided calculator to get you thinking about your project, researching your numbers, and seeing what honestly happens given expected results. Tweak the %'s, prices, etc. to match your project. Input whatever equations and auto-calcs help you evaluate the scale of your campaign.
