The new CYTHERE collection draws inspiration from the Greek island of Naxos, famed in legend as the place where Aphrodite arrived on a sea-
shell, a symbol of beauty and harmony. The collection’s colours and textures echo the island’s landscapes: warm grey pebbles, fine sand, off-white
rocks, and red clay rich in iron, reminiscent of the pigments used by Venetian painters. Each ceramic piece tells the story of this land and the
Mediterranean ceramic tradition, spread by the Arabs from Latin countries. The designs pay homage to this heritage, featuring handcrafted bricks
and 19th-century tiles produced in southern Italian workshops, once used to adorn the noble homes of Naples, Palermo, and other cities. Here,
the elegance of painterly motifs and the textured strokes of clay are brought to life. Tradition seamlessly blends with modernity in this collection,
