Really 2 colors! Cool, maybe I need more gaming. Pistol sound is kinda annoying tho

Could use a bit more polish — definitely adjust the hitboxes of the hands, and the theme feels under-represented; there’s also no hitboxes on the walls, either.

I really loved the TV effect you added to the screen-it gave the whole game such a cool retro vibe! The gameplay was simple but really fun, I liked figuring out the timing and movement, it felt snappy and easy to get into. I’m still curious how you pulled off that TV shader, it really tied the aesthetic together, please share!

the SFX were pretty good, as for everything else... not a fan of the mixels, and having no way to differentiate between pickups and enemies made things very confusing. I dont think using a plain black and white color palette did you any favors... plenty of other 2 color palettes which would have helped make your game look nicer and cover some of the imperfections.

Simple short Crosscode shooter game.

The description can tell more about the game intros. And since it is a 1-bit game, it is hard to tell which are the enemies and which are the power-ups. Also I like the CRT effect you get from the kaplay examples. Love the BGM music too.

An interesting game but definitely has problems. There should be some explanation of the game and controls. The gameplay itself is fine but a bogged down with bugs. The miniboss hands don't take damage ,\the rolling enemies have debug text showing what state they're in and the player can go off the screen. The tv screen is a good idea, but only the ui is actually distorted by it so it looks weird. Lastly, pressing R turns on a debug mode.

The effects and the mechanics are really well done, I love the idea… It’s pretty hard to understand what’s good and what’s not at first, but once you get the hang of it, its very funny! Overall job well done!

If you find the time to play our game too, I would appreciate it!

I really like the TV shader look, it brings out a retro vibe to the game. I think it can be confusing when enemies spawns on or near the player since you could take damage instantly. If you add some particles, white noise and maybe distortion lines on the shader, this game will look amazing. Keep at it :D

Fun game, sometimes the enemies spawned on top of me dealing free damage, but other than that solid concept, nice job
