How does the game fit the theme?
The game was about taking banking investment decisions, but the game switched direction to being more about historic role play.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

------------------------------- AI usage:------------------------

The game doesn't use any AI generated image nor text, but AI had an big role in the game development by playing the historic consultant, I asked them things like what names were popular back then? what currency was used back then? and I use their answers to write the text.

This is the plan for the cover

I was thinking of this image of Dante,

but I found a similar Image of one of the Medici , so I used it instead

without much risk to be had, the investments aren't worth a whole lot. the music is nice and the paintings are, too, but the text can be a little hard to read. The font, as well as the similar background colors make reading harder than necessary for a text-based game.

Ok, thank you for your feedback.

Awesome game!  the art is really appropriate with the period, the gameplay driven by choices , and careful attention must be done to the text .  Overall, I enjoyed playing this one! Keep it up!

I owe my life and wealth to the Florintine baking markets. Very interesting premise, i liked it

This was an intresting take on the "risk" theme. I wanted to do something with investing too but I couldn't come up with to impliment this I was happy with so I moved on from it. It's cool you found a way to make this work!

My college was half about commerce, so this helped me.

I once tried making a game in a field I have little experience in (medicine), and I too failed.

I think giving a historical context to a game like this was a good move. A modern wall street game wouldn't have been interesting. Well done

Very unique submission.

I wasn't sure though about thing though: does the game always end after 12 months? I wasn't exactly sure why I reached the end game.

Yes, the game always ends after 1 year, after you have seen all the prepared content. I didn't set any consequence for the in game decisions, for I joined the jam late and that is all the content my skill did allow for in 4 days, and the game got to be more about the historic theme and role playing as a banker in 1450 Italy, rather than making right or wrong decision.
