How does the game fit the theme?
The game is a game withing a game, and the world is broken and falling apart. A broken game is an awfully strange place for a video game character to be, don't you say?

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All from scratch, with the exception of the sound fx.

The art and level design here is really good for a first jam! I found the way the levels were designed around the abilities to be really engaging. The art and music are really well done, kind of reminds me of pizza tower. One thing I would suggest is a way to get back to the area with all the abilities reliably.  Really good job!

Colorful aesthetics of the game feels good. Moving background is cool addition.

There is a plenty of different abilities to play around.

At first I didn't get that you play different level based on chosen ability - I had to look to the comments section to find out that there is much more content.

Really good game!

Beat the game, good level of challenge for each ability. Did wish it was easier to find each location, also you can skip some of the stage on the double jump level.  Overall really good for a first jam, blows my first out of the water!

Congratulations on your first game jam! You did an amazing work! I like your game. There is one bug where player would get stuck after trying to enter another level. Other than that, everything is good.

The art is very good. I like the interesting way you set up the platform mechanics, where different platforming abilities are consumables instead. It’s cool that you can come back and swap them to get through certain rooms and eventually reach the “bug fix” keys. Also, it's interesting how the rooms randomly change each time you go across. Solid work!

The title screen + intro look really good. They have a very high level of polish going on. The platforming feels great too. Jumps are responsive, wall jumps are nice and snappy, and overall it just feels good to control. Getting a jump controller to feel right is not easy, especially in a first jam, so props there.

I also really like the idea of picking one ability and committing to it. Dash, dbl jump, phase, and gravity shift is a cool spread. What impressed me most is that the levels still work pretty well no matter what you choose. That's not easy to design around.

Nice pixel visuals, good sound feedback, smooth feel overall. Amazing first jam entry for sure.

Great job on your first game jam! This has a lot of creativity behind the premise and how it weaves through the environment and mechanics.

I found the gameplay a bit confusing at first so maybe consider introducing the different effects incrementally so the player can learn and master one thing at a time.

Happy jamming and keep up the good work!

Your game had an interesting concept and some nice visuals. I did get stuck on one of the levels so I wasn't able to progress past that point. It seemed like the character was too tall to fit under certain platforms.

Couldnt finish the game, but it was fun!

Such a nice game concept and an interesting back story! Great work on the cutscreen at the start!

Incredible visual opening! It just looked remarkable! After that, I had a hard time understanding what's my current special ability for some time. But when I get used to it, I realized some levels are more suitable for playing with some specific powerups. That was a nice challenging touch. Great game!

WONDERFUL game!

Genuinely impressive work, especially if this is an early jam project. The presentation grabs you right away and the art carries a really strong identity throughout. Movement feels responsive and satisfying, which makes retrying sections feel fair rather than punishing. The room-to-room progression is a cool idea too, even if it can get a bit disorienting when you’re hunting for a specific path or upgrade. A few rough edges and bugs here and there, but nothing that overshadows how much creativity is packed into this. With a bit more polish and clarity, this could turn into something seriously standout. Great job.

Very impressive for your first jam game! Excellent visuals!

Holy crap is this insane. The beginning cutscene is absolutely breathtaking and the gameplay is so solid. Dying doesn't feel like a massive frustration, it is just part of the motivation to get those darn bug keys. I love this. Incredible work

This is very good for your first game jam! Especially the art at the beginning. It's beautiful. The gameplay has potential, but its a bit difficult. Especially when I can't seem to fit through one block wide holes.
