A bit visually overwhelming. Between the lack of full-screen, the filter and how small the spikes were I often found myself jumping right into spikes because I didn't see them until it was too late. I don't know if all three of these issues need to be fixed but even just making the spikes a bit bigger/more noticeable would go a long way.

Also, I'm not sure if it was intentional, but the music made me feel uneasy as I played.  I kept feeling like something was going to come out of no where to jump scare me. I get the feeling that might be more tied to my personal tastes than something wrong with the game.

Hey! This was a pretty tough platformer. I do love the little details you added for feedback (like when the penguin lands it squashes a bit), I can certainly appreciate that. I think when you die, it should restart you automatically instead of asking you to do it (I think that would feel a lot more intuitive and faster, especially because I think people will die a lot trying to beat this game).

Great job on your submission!

Cute penguin, but I wasn't a fan of the music and the filter was far too strong. Honestly, it's a bit difficult to look at and makes it hard to see, so I didn't finish the game. I think the CTR look can be really cool, but it didn't work here. Sorry to be negative, but I hope the feedback is helpful and wish you the best of luck on your future projects!

Cute penguin, quite slippery controls and the spike were hardly readable. otherwise pretty challenging!

Very nice platforming controls, but the obstacles are very unforgiving. It also very hard to see the spikes because of the filter that can't be disabled. I think even without the filter, it would still be difficult.

Overall, the platforming controls are very good, difficult levels, weird filter.

Cool concept with tight movement, but I found the controls to be difficult and the filter made it hard to see the spikes. I like the idea of the filter to give it a retro look but it was a little too strong.

The gameplay is good and the pixelated artwork is nice, but why is there this filter over the game like it's on an old tv? I kept dying to the spikes because the filter made it really hard to see them and not being able to see doesn't work with how fast the gameplay is. Also, while the audio is good from a technical standpoint it doesn't fit the comfy theme at all. It sounds like a horror game. Why?
Overall, it was fun but I really don't understand why this is your comfy jam submission.

The platforming controls feel tight fast, the grain makes it a little hard to see the spikes though.
