Nice pixel work
So simple but so cool. The art style is wonderful, though the rotating background eventually started to make me nauseous. I'd say that's very thematic though! It has a charm to it between the really nice and retro art and the very simple but satisfying gameplay loop

It was a solid game mechanic! I wish there was some goal to keep track of the progress, but it works just as good as a relaxing game. I definitely enjoyed it! :)

I'm really glad you enjoyed the core mechanic. You're right, having a goal or progress tracker would be a great addition. In the end I ran out of time since this was my first time not only making a game but also using Pico-8.

A well made and cute retro arcade game! Easy to get in the flow and lose time, the lasso is fun to use :D Plus always nice to see more Pico 8.

My goal for this game jam was to get the core idea finished, and your comments confirm that I succeeded in that. I know the game needs more content but I'm really happy to hear that even in its current state, it makes you want to keep playing. That's a great sign.

Efficient concept, although it can be a bit hard to distinguish all the items from the water. The gameplay is quite smooth otherwise. Nice job!
