Nice game. Sort of a similar genre as my game--trying to make one bar go up without letting the other bar get to high.

The game is a tad hard, and I'd have loved to have the narrative concepts from the introduction explored a bit more throughout the gameplay, but this game intrigued me a lot. I initially thought it was more of a story-focused game, but nonetheless the entry's concept is enough to get hooked. The gameplay is solid, and the sfx and music are amazing, helped a ton with the atmosphere and also for indicating when you implant too many chips without taking any serum.

I like the concept. Could use some more choices I think. The loop feels a bit short. The art/music direction was perfect. Your writing was great too. Good work!

Nice work!  I thought the writing was the strong point.

Glad to hear ❤️❤️

Cool game!! I liked the story and atmosphere of the game. I would've liked a bit more to the gameplay, it was fun to balance leveling up with going on jobs and stuff, but it was a little easy to get super high level and 100% jobs that give lots of cash. I definitely would've kept going if the goal amount was higher, tho I enjoyed the gameplay loop. Nice work!

Developer

Thanks! The reason I set the goal this low was because, well, I ran out of writing juice—that's as far as I could get going solo 🤣🤣 Nice to hear that you enjoyed it! I really enjoyed yours too!

NIce job, the music/ambience was great!

Thank you!

Really nice game.  The job descriptions were pretty fun. I think I would've happily kept playing longer if the goal amount was higher.

Glad you liked it! It feels nice to practice my writing skills in this game jam as narrative design is what I'm passionate about 🕺

well polished and cool story - wasn't sure about the gameplay

Thanks for playing my game!

I'm still relatively new to programming so I wanted to start with simple mechanics. There were a few ideas I couldn't apply in time but I hope one day I'll be able to! 😏

Your game looks interesting though 🤔 Can't wait to play once I get off work!
