This was fun. I like how there is a pattern for what houses can be completed, but there is a huge luck factor of what parts you get. I went a long time only getting like 2 bedrooms. Anyways, this was fun.
this was cool, though sometimes it seemed like houses that would complete, did not? but regardless, good take, good job!
Thank you!
House are only completed if they don't have open (unconnected) doors, this includes doors going outside of the grid or leading to another room's wall. That being said, I agree it's not intuitive and confusion is completely understandable :)
I haven’t seen a puzzle game like this before. It’s nice to see something fresh!
Like others, I also had a little trouble figuring out what the requirements of a house (Terraria flashbacks?).
Unlike others, I had a brain problem where I would keep looking at the next-next block rather than upcoming one. Skill issue, I know 😅
It’d be nice to see this expanded on with more juice and clearer signposting (tutorial/clarity stuff)!
Appreciate the feedback!
Not sure it's a skill issue - happens to me more than I care to admit. Definitely need to improve clarity around that ( and overall game rules 😅 ).
Thanks for playing!
Oh wow this is fun. I can see it as some kind of a mobile game. good stuff - would be cooler with some polish and juice (as well as a tutorial cause I didn't really know what I was doing at first)
Thank you for playing! We'll see if we continue the project but if we do it would be mobile first. And yes there is a lot of room for juice (pun intended)
So cute! The colors are very appealing and the game is very easy to pickup imo. I feel like if you would expand on this with something like a tutorial this would be waaaay better! Anyway, nice work :D
Thank you for the feedback! Tutorial is next up if we continue to work on the project :)
Looks like a nice idea, however I found the gameplay very confusing - I thought I formed "closed" house, but it didn't count. I'd suggest adding some additional instructions & maybe gameplay examples.
We definitely wanted to add a tutorial but decided to prioritise other things. In hindsight maybe not the best decision..
Thank you for playing and giving feedback!
