  • Game was simple and a neat idea with some minor issues. When my hp reached zero the game didn't end and i was able to keep fighting. The animations were good but the character felt a little slow at times while wielding the sword but that may have been from holding left click for a little bit. The game loop also felt incomplete as i tried it for 25 mins and did not get the boss to spawn. Maybe adding a timer would help motivate and give an expectation of when the boss spawns. The game had no ambient sound or sfx for weapon swings. The xp orbs also dropped in random places after killing enemies making it difficult to level up during fights. The GDD was also missing a roadmap for task to be completed and how the scope was managed. Its a rough prototype but keep working on it, their is a lot of potential!

Wow, this is almost exactly like our game! I like the way this game looks, and I think you did a great job with the animations. There was no game over when my health reached 0. I hope you will keep working on this and making it better! Great job!
