Neat concept that I’ve personally only ever seen once before, and I can’t even remember where from specifically. Love the near monochromatic style. The platforms were definitely bullying me by not letting me jump off of them when they’re moving upward which screwed up a lot of my jumps. This was the only big frustration I had with this game, and considering it’s a gamejam, I’d say that’s definitely a win lol
Really like the idea of changing the map at your will. I enjoyed playing this game. If you want to try mine too i've uploaded all version (web, windows, macos and linux), give it a try and let me now if you like it:)
I'm honestly impressed. The way the main gimmick involves the level design directly is pretty interesting.
My feedback for this would prob be add sound effects and make the box borders adapt to where you place it so level swapping won't be so restricted to only one spot.
Really interesting and unique take on the theme! Pretty fun puzzles. Controls would sometimes feel a little off and the tutorial is a little lacking in context, but eventually it got figured out. Also, spacebar was jump, but in the game's itch page, it said E was jump.
Love the gameboy art style! Interesting platforming mechanic with the swapping, but it is a bit hard to enjoy properly when the character controller is a little sluggish, and the menu for swapping areas is not super intuitive.
Wow this is such a great idea, I really liked this game and it looks SOO GOOOD, however, even with the tutorial text, the swapping menu wasn't completely intuitive. so it took me alittle while to figure out the game
